This past tenant received her refund and deposited the check She is wanting more than what she was entitled to

That's an incorrect response from them, I did not receive the check until 11/13/(after I filed this complaint), and then I cashed it the same day 11/13/15.They finally got back to me after I reached out to new management and had to get another party involved

On Friday February 24th 2014 I handed [redacted] a cashiers check for $2900.00 for our move in. This would bring the total funds given to her company 3900 + application fees. Not a small amount of change I can just pull out of thin air. I met with her at the property around 3 pm and she was parked in the driveway. When I pulled up she got out of the vehicle and handed me the keys and I handed her our cashiers check. She said she was headed on vacation for the weekend. I took the keys and my 11 month old son and walked up the to home. Before getting back into her car and pulling away she said "oh the garage doors and pool key are inside in a drawer." At that point she got in the car and drove away. This is when the trouble began:
1. the garbage can in the garage was full to the brim with garbage and it was starting to stink. There were several discarded boxes that had recently had blinds in them left in the garage that wouldn't fit into the trash receptacle.
2. there was no pool key. there were 2 garage door remotes, but when I tried them neither of them worked.
3. I went the next day, Saturday, to clean the home and write notes for the movers who were bringing our furniture on Tuesday. The sinks in every bathroom and in the kitchen were backed up. I couldn't clean or do dishes because they wouldn't drain. I just happened to have an extra bottle of draino. I tried using it and it wouldn't work on the upstairs sink. I also went and got new batteries for the garage door remotes, but they still wouldn't work. I also had to buy batteries for a smoke detector. Not a big deal, but on top of everything else it was a hassle.
4. There were no instructions or information on the mailbox key. There are 7 towers and 12 boxes each tower. I was not provided with a box or tower number.
I emailed [redacted] this information on Monday and what follows are her responses:
1. (mailbox key) I will ask the owner if he knows. 2. (pool key) I will mail it out to you. 3. (sinks) did you try draino on them? 4. (garage door remotes) did you replace the batteries.
I understand that things will break in a home and I know that not every move can run smoothly, but [redacted] should have been there that Friday morning to make sure that everything was in working order. She knew the day I was accepting the keys and signing the lease. It isn't as if this move in was a surprise or last minute. After I explained that I had done all of that she responded with:
1. (mailbox key) the owner doesn't know what number it goes to. Try the key in all the boxes and if that doesn't work I will call to have it rekeyed. 2. (pool key) I still have yet to get a pool key. 3. (sinks) finally after two days a plumber came out to fix the problem. 4. (remotes) oh if the batteries don't work buy some at home depot and save the receipt the owner will take it off next months rent.
I tried the key in all the boxes...... It only took an hour to try the key in every box and not look suspicious to the neighborhood. It didn't fit any box and so I had to call the rekey company and get it taken care of. I called on a Monday and finally got the key on a Thursday March the 13th. When I went to check the mail that night at 6pm there was no pool key. You can imagine my annoyance and frustration. I called and left a voicemail that someone needed to call me ASAP in the morning because it was [redacted] that I had no pool key, we had to wait for our mail key, the garage door remotes didn't work, and the sinks didn't work when we moved in. All of these things should've been handled by the company that gets paid to handle them. I didn't get a call back the next morning, but a nasty email from [redacted] about how dare I the customer who has been treated like crap this entire month speak to her this way.
Friday afternoon I got an email that [redacted] was working on the pool key problem and she had contacted the HOA and they would mail it out.
So I was working 53 hours this weekend and couldn't call [redacted] back to let her know that our washing machine had stopped working Thursday March 13th PM. My husband and I had to wait until Monday to contact her.
My husband called to let her know that she would be dealing with him that day since I work at an Irish bar and wouldn't be able to take phone calls or emails because it was St Pattys day. Biggest day of the year for my bar.
So guess who got an email around noon that day from [redacted]? I did. I tried to send off a quick email that she must call [redacted] my husband, who she had a leasing application with his phone number on, since I couldn't talk. When I finally got off from working a 17hour shift on my feet with no breaks, but to pee I had a voicemail from the warranty company asking questions about the washer. All calls were supposed to go to my husband. Because of this mistake it took an extra day for us to have the repair man come out for the washer. When asked where they got my number they said they get an email from the property company and it had come from them.
I work in a restaurant where people can tip me based on service. If I am having a bad night and off on my server/bartender game then people tend to tip me less. If I am having a good night and get everything right I receive tips that are appropriate to my level of service. If this worked for every industry I can tell you that after this experience [redacted] wouldn't be making any tips. She hasn't had one off night she has had an entire month of off nights and screw ups. How she currently holds a job dealing with the public is beyond me. By the way I still have yet to receive that pool key :-) I have all of her emails since she refuses to call people back on the phone so I have proof that these conversations really did happen.

Again - This tenant is fabricating her story to try and get funds or attention of some sort and she isn't worth our time to be fighting back and forth.  She even acknowledged receiving the funds.  So not sure why, or what, she is still complaining about.
