Review: I called [redacted] of Mom's Ceramics in [redacted] to have them fire bisque from my daughter's 2nd birthday pottery party. I dropped it off to [redacted] personally on a Tuesday and gave her a $5 deposit of the $50 total. The following Tuesday (when she said it would be ready), I called the shop and [redacted] told me it wasn't ready, but check back Saturday. I work weekends so I stopped in the following Monday night (now 2 weeks into this). A lady told me [redacted] was downstairs and couldn't come up. While I'm waiting, I see my bag of pottery at the front desk where I had left it 2 weeks earlier - unfired! When the lady came up, she said [redacted] would fire it that night and to come pick it up the next day. I drive yet again the next night to pick up my pottery. When I arrive, NOTHING IS DONE. I asked another lady to have [redacted] call me the next day. The next day came, it was a Wednesday. No call from [redacted]. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday came with no explanation. No courtesy call. No apology. Now, it's 3 WEEKS since I dropped off the bag of pottery. And I simply can't believe this shop is in business. I stop in the next Tuesday and [redacted] brings me the bag of pottery and all I see is all the paint that my guests used on their pottery was fired off! I couldn't believe it. I first asked her if she likes to ignore her customers and she says no. I told her a phone call takes only 30 seconds. Not once did she pick up the phone to tell me if the pottery was ready or not. Never called to update me on the status of the pottery delay. Never once called me to tell me the pottery didn't come out right. She completely shunned me as a customer. Ignored me, neglected me, and gave me the cold-shoulder. Then she asked how I wanted to pay. I said, "Pay for what?" She looks at me surprised and annoyed and says, "Are you really going to do this?" She had no business acumen, no knowledge of what she had done, no understanding that this situation should never have happened if she really cared about her business.Desired Settlement: As an artisan myself, I deeply value my services and the customers who believe in me. She discounted $5 after I asked her to, and I paid the $40 hesitantly. I'm not one to ever skip on payment, but leaving her shop, I felt I shouldn't have paid. She provided no service to me, yes she fired the pottery, but ignored me for 3 weeks, never told me the firing didn't take to the pottery, gave me attitude when I went to finally pick it up and never, never apologized. I'd like the $45 returned.

Response:
At this time, I have not been contacted by Mom's Ceramics regarding complaint ID [redacted].
Unfortunately, this further iterates the lack of business etiquette and customer service from Mom's Ceramics. I am beyond baffled that they chose to ignore even the Revdex.com. A business like this should not be operating.
Sincerely,
