Dec 1914 I went to monarch dental to have work done on my teeth. I was quailed a price of 3000.00. Which was the amount I signed for. Months later when I went in because my implants keep coming off. I was told I still owned 2000.00 more. for the life of me I couldn't understand how a business could quote on price and wind up paying more. I should have acted sooner and fought harder to deny the charge. But they called and called until I gave in. I am hoping other patients read this review and think twice about using monarch dental. Once I went to have my implant repaired the dentist sent me home with my tooth in hand and told me to call someone else.

We had a service need for a Wolf cooktop, and Mr. Appliance was recommended by the store where we purchased the cooktop - and I'm thankful for that referral! Mr. Appliance was able to schedule a next-day appointment/service call for us, and the service pro who came (Mike) was outstanding - extremely professional, efficient and thorough, he quickly identified our problem and got our cooktop back up and running in no time. I will gladly use them for all appliance repair needs in the future, and will recommend them to everyone who wants great service.

I invited Mr. Appliance to look at my Maytag Neptune Drying unit. Carlos F. walked up to the unit, pushed a few buttons, looked for the model number, then went right to his tablet to find a new Control Panel.
I indicated that I had gone on the internet, showed him the responses, that is, test the thermal fuse before replacing the entire panel. Carlos gave me a sarcastic response, "you hired a professional didn't you?, I've been doing this for 18 years". He had no intention of even taking the control panel off to see if it was a simple fix.
Five minutes of service, $79, and he virtually didn't touch the machine.
A ripoff by anyone's standards.
He looked for a replacement, indicated they will only buy new parts, not used. Over $500. Totally unacceptable.
I would not recommend this company. I was afraid this would happen and indicated so to the representative that set up the appt.

My experience with Mr Appliance of Tampa / Brandon was a nightmare. I had them diagnose a problem with my refrigerator and they quoted me an enormous price to repair. I looked up the part on the internet while the repairman was there and it was 230 dollars cheaper. He blamed the price increase on the manufacterer by saying they will rather have me buy a new refrigerator than repair it. Anyway, I agreed to have them fix it for over 400 dollars. It did not work, and they said to wiat a day or 2 for it to get colder. After 10 days and having to throw out food, I called them to come and repair it right this time. They either mis diagnosed and sold me a part I didn't need or screwed it all up. I made appt for 3 PM and they did not show up. I called at 4, and they said the repairman would call. 45 more minutes with no call, and they said my appt was "after" 3, which meant ANYTIME after 3. I told them it was for 3, and I had it recorded and I had to leave at 530. The lady told me I was wrong, and hung up on me for getting loud. I have a hearing problem, and I told her I could not talk over her. I was the customer, and she didn't care. I demended to talk to the owner, and after another 30 min (still no repairman 2 1/2 hrs late), I told him what happened and he did not care. Obviously, they had my money and wasn't interested in showing up on time to FIX THEIR MISTAKE!!! This company is rude, has no consideration for the paying customer, and they don't know how to fix appliances. I would advise NO ONE use this horrible excuse for a business.

6/10/16 To whom this May concern: I received a call from Mrs. [redacted] on May 6th. Mrs. [redacted] proceeded to tell me that I was keeping money from her. She said she dropped off a letter from us telling her that she had a refund. I checked all refunds in and processed...

and I did not find this letter. I assured her that this is no problem, I see on account that a refund is due. I did tell her that she sounded upset and that I apologize for causing her to be that. The letter must have gotten misplaced. I assured her that day that I would process refund that day in my application. I did so that day. May 8th I received an email from company that she called back and wanted a return call. I then assured her again that 1 started the process of the check and she would receive in 4-6 weeks. I don't understand that she feels we are keeping money from her when we are informing her by letter that she has a credit. By law, we (my company), cannot keep rightfully due credits to patients , this is why we send letters and try to call patients as much as possible or at the end of every year a lot of these credits go to state. Thank you, [redacted] Office Manger Monarch Dental at Woodlake [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] is the only office manager at this business and is the only one who cuts the checks. On the second call when corporate told her to call me she did say they received the letter back that they sent out on April 11th. I then ask her who in her office is responsible for cutting the checks. When she verified that she was the only one then I reminded her I did not send the letter via mail, I walked it into her office and placed it into her hands. She did not appologize when I called her the first time we talked. She sarcastically asked me if I was upset in a childish voice. She did apologize the second time we spoke after corporate office called her. She did own up to misplacing the letter herself after she knew I physically placed it into her hands. And she did tell me it would be an additional 4-6 weeks I would have to wait due to her misplacing the letter. I feel since I already waited 4-6 weeks after physically walking this letter to her personally and after she caused all this drama that she should cut the check and have me physically pick it up. I will never use this monarch dental location again. if they know my phone number to call me to remind me of six month check ups they should know my number to tell me my account is overpaid. I am certain they would know my number if I owed them. Normal business practice is to credit the debit or credit card used by the customer and send them a letter with the transaction as a receipt not to hold onto their money for 8 months then send a letter to them telling them they have 30 days to claim their money or they will send it off to the state. I have been in vacations in the past for 30 days and what if a letter gets delivered to the wrong address? I had my mail in the past to to my neighbors. So had this letter not been received by me I would had never known I had money there. these people are crooks and this letter is just to cover their butts in case they get caught stealing people's money. The only reason it would take 4-8 weeks was most likely so you could forget all about it.It does not even take 2 says for a letter to come around the corner from two streets away. Since they refuse to take care of this I am calling my bank for fraud.
