Mona's Auto Insurance Reviews (%countItem)

A complaint is being filled after being scammed when filling my tax refund. False information was given to me when filling.
I have been coming to Monas auto insurance and tax return since 2017. It took me 2 years to realize that they have been scamming me and taking more money from my refund than I have been told in person when filling. On Saturday 02/08/2020 I went to file my taxes with *** who I have trusted to do my taxes for 2 years, very friendly guy and talks you into accepting the amount given. I was advised that I was not making enough back and he will charge me 250 and my return will be $4608. I agreed and he made me sign a signature pad to finalize, after I signed he advised me that my signature had to be by law the same as my ID. Never gave me any paper to review before signing. He also asked for my Checking's account routing and account number to have the refund deposited into my bank account after I asked *** that how was he charging he claimed that it was already deducted immediately to him and my amount was going directly into my account from the IRS. I called IRS that coming Monday after reviewing paperwork that had a different account number than mine and they have verified that my account number was not the one given for depositing and instead it was the prepares account number. They also stated that refund amount is $***. That mean this man is charging $685 fee to file my taxes without my consent. Although, the IRS was not able to change the account information they advised me to contact the preparer by the name of "***" who filed my taxes. I advised that it was incorrect because *** was who assisted me in filling my taxes at the time, that is very much considered fraud in the state of CA. They advised me to file a XXXXX-A form against them. I reached out to *** via email regarding this and to change my account and his response was that I had "agreed" to the charges therefore he cannot change them and also for the refund account. He stated that due to me not paying upfront he has a contract with Santa Barbara program for all his clients. he provided attached forms to the email supposedly signed by "me". Apparently with the one signature that I singed on a signature pad to finalize the refund he used for all paperwork that was not shown to me when signing.

Desired Outcome

I want the remaining of refund money, $685 charged fee that was never agreed by me.

When in to remove a lien on a title of a vehicle I just finish paying . They order new plates and tags , an cancel my custom plates .
On 1/7/2020 , I went to monas insurance with the physical address of ***
I went to removed a lien on a title for a vehicle I just finish paying . The agent who happens to be a manager By the name of* told me the fee for this process will be 165.00 . I paid her an she continue the process . When she was done she handed me new plates and tags . I immediately told her I never requested any of this , I had custom plates on my car and never did she mention I had to surrender my plates . She stated that was part of the process to remove the lien . I told her that if that was the case how come she never me made me aware of it . She said it was done and nothing can be done to reverse it . I talk to the manager *** , she said she was sorry for the mistake and miscommunication but unfortunately it was out of her hands . The only thing they can do for me is wave there administrative fees to request new custom plates . But of course I will have to pay an additional 50 dollar fee with the DMV. I demanded a refund because I shouldn't have to paid for one if they're agents mistake . It was unnecessary fees I had to pay because of them . I research the DMV processes and all I had to pay was 15 dollars for the lien removal . I understand I have to pay for there administrative fee which may vary from 50-70 dollars but I pay triple of what I had to .

Desired Outcome

A refund is the least thing they can do for me , it was there mistake and they should pay for it. The company should pay for they're employees mistakes .
