I bought a pair of gloves from a supposedly high end designer for over $200 that fell apart last winter within a few months of wearing them. Stupidly the season ended and I didn't return them. Now winter is almost here and I pulled out my gloves and realized I needed to return them. I contacted the manufacturer and was told to visit their store nearest to me and they would be happy to repair them. ( I had bought them online). When I went in the store I was rudely told the glove is sewn with one thread and they could not be repaired. ( subsequently I took them to my dry cleaner who is repairing them for me.).
