In response the sum that was paid according to the receipt was for tree removal and install of drivewayThe day we installed the forms for the driveway I had [redacted] and his uncle there to inspect the depth of the forms and the pourThey were both in agreement that it was ok to pourNow [redacted] is measuring the side of the concrete to try to come up with a way to get money from meThis was approved by him and his uncle before it was pouredThe only way to check the depth would be to core drill the concrete and I will guarantee it is consistently thicker than 8"I have reached out to the concrete company to provide a copy of the delivery receiptThey are having a hard time because the company changed hands times since the projectI am not reluctant to provide it but it may take some more time [redacted] is trying to get money from me for some reasonHe is also concurrently repeatedly calling the building department in regards to the site I am building next door that we subdivided off of the original parcelThere are complaints against the property all unfounded by the Department of BuildingsThis is becoming tiresome

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Aiello stated in an e-mail which I can provide you that "I do not have the concrete mix report"Now he's telling us that he's "trying to get it"Too late for that, anything he provides at this point would be an obviously "back dated" report which he will guide the concrete people exactly as to what to sayNice try though! Aiello keeps making reference to "trying to get money from me"If Aiello will provide what he signed (that is a year labor and materials warranty through his company) as well as fix the defects in his workmanship, the issue would go awayHowever, he keeps skirting the issue at hand and violating the contract he signedAiello refuses to provide either a financial relief or what he signed in the contractSecondly, [redacted] i" was not present the day the concrete was poured, I was at workThe forms were already in place when I got there after workSecondly, Aiello isn't "building" anything, he's "renovating" the property that he bought from my family---this is an important distinctionHe hasn't "built" anything on that site, merely "renovating" (and in the case of my garage, it was done poorly)Additionally, the Revdex.com should know that Aiello is in default to the City of New York for violations on property he owns at [redacted] to the tune of $4,for nearly two yearsThis is well documented on the NYC Buildings websiteAlso, when his project started, Aiello e-mailed me asking me who might be the source of the complaints at the property he bought from usHe was told there was a neighbor who complained about the work he was doing on the garage for me, who complained to me about the tree remove Aiello was doingAiello should do a better job with his accusations. Also, as you can clearly see by the measurements provided the concrete isn't 8" thick at EVERY point of the installation which is what the contract called for.The pictures clearly show thatPlease not that Aiello did not pour the concrete, he had a contractor do it for himHe has admitted to me and my family that he's a "carpenter"He certainly isn't a concrete installer. As I have stated previouslyAiello can provide what he charged me for, correct the horrid defects in his workmanship or provide financial compensation and I will either do it myself or hire someone competent to fix it correctly.Thank you, [redacted] MEDIATOR NOTE:Additional info from email:"I replied to the business response provided (which is unacceptable and does not resolve the issue at hand)Also, please not that Aiello does not address the water ponding in the driveway which you can see in the photo and is specifically prohibited in the contractAlso, you can see by the measurement that the concrete isn't 8" thick all the way aroundAiello's idea of core drilling to get a depth measurement is total nonsense, you'd have to drill virtually every part of the driveway, because the contract calls out for it to be 8" in every spot throughoutHe keeps skirting the contract issue of which he's in clear violation ofAs to the complaints to NYC DOB, you might be interested in the attached on his property on Alaska Street in Staten Island (he does business under various names, including this one)Notice that he owes the City of New York $4,in a default judgement? Funny how he accuses others of calling the DOB on him when he's no stranger to complaints (and this is just ONE of his properties). Thanks again for your help[redacted] ###-###-#### Work###-###-#### Home" In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]
