Money Concepts International Reviews (2)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The business is completely making up a scenario which did not happen as they are describingWhen my vehicle died on Christmas Day 12/25/ [redacted] sent out a battery truck and they could not fix the battery and towed it to a [redacted] Dealership who checked the battery and they have diagnostic tests and said I needed a new battery both [redacted] and [redacted] while this business is claiming it's not the battery & blaming me [redacted] said there is a faulty cell in the battery and it was under warranty by this company and they should honor that warranty rather than put a faulty battery back in my car especially when I travel frequently long distanceOf course I'm going to believe [redacted] and a certified [redacted] dealership over a battery shop Regards, [redacted]

On Friday December 26, [redacted] called and said her battery would not work in her carShe said on December 24th she noticed that her dome light was on in her car and she tried starting her car and surprisingly it started right upShe then turned the car off and opened all the doors and began loading her car with presents and other stuff for the trip here for Christmas(She just moved to [redacted] , PA.) After she was finished loading her car with all the doors open it was long enough to discharge her battery, it would not start the carShe called [redacted] they jumped her to get her runningAfter jump starting it she drove a short distance and her vehicle stalled(Note: If a battery's charge is low enough the computer in the car can lose memory and stallIt needs a certain amount of voltage in order to run properly.) She then had to be towed and was towed to the nearest [redacted] DealershipAs per our conversation on the 26th we told her we would need to check the battery and asked if it was possible to bring it hereShe said that she would bring itOn Saturday December 27, [redacted] brought the battery inWe checked it and determined it was just down on chargeAfter re-asking and confirming that she left anything on she said she left her dome light on overnight You cannot leave your doors open for hours on end anymore like you did in the old daysI left my accessory switch on while playing the radio ( [redacted] game) for hours and the battery went deadThere are too many lights and computers draining the batteryAfter she understood that the light being left on would take the charge out of the battery, we asked her if we could charge the battery over the weekendWe told her that a test would be done Monday December 29, She understood completely and asked if we could reinstall the battery back in her car and she would go back to [redacted] We told her we would be more than happy to reinstall it at no charge once the battery was determined to be perfectly fine and have no issues later onOn Monday December 29, [redacted] called up questioning about her battery and said her father and brother told her not to take the battery she purchased from usI explained the battery was fine and should not have any other problems with the battery as long as the lights are not left on overnight, it did not constitute a warranty because it was not a manufactures defect and I was unable to refund her moneyShe then explained she was going to call the Revdex.com and hung up the phoneNOTE: A warranty is a manufacture defect periodA battery is a storage box filled with energyIf you use it you must refill (charge) itThat is the principle of a battery (it did its job perfectly)Example: A glass is used to hold water- once you use it you refill itYou don't throw it awayAgain batteries are designed to hold juice and give juice but they have to be refilled.NOTE: I would never give my daughter or their daughter with a battery that would give them a problem! If they were worried about it we would have no problem of trading it in for a new oneThere would be a fee for the trade in because it is not bad - it is a courtesy onlyThen we could sell it as a used battery and get most of our money backIt is not our fault neither us or the battery have done nothing wrongShe went from very nice to I am taking you the Revdex.com and hung the phone upShe just wants her own way and that's that because of the wrong advice.Sincerely, [redacted] President
