Good morning ***This was turned over to [redacted] claim department in Ft.Wayne Indiana on 8/24/Due to the nature of the claim and due to the "lapse in time and absence control on the Carrier's part we are unable to confirm the the claimed damage is transit damageThe customer did not notify any one of damages until 8/3/and the customer delivered on 11/7/to their residence The customer also packed everything and these are PBO'S (packed by owner) which are not covered under the valuation terms as we have no control on the packing or items in cartonsThere was no noted damage to the cartons on the customer check off sheet to indicated damages at time of delivery This is a requirement of the customer for any claim to be considered of cartons that are PBO'S Inventory which is done at origin list furniture and description of the piece as well as any marks (scratch,dented,rubbed) etcand the customer signs at origin and receives a copyThe ar armoire in question is listed on her inventory with the handle missing, scratched and chipped at origin before it was even loadedAll property damage has to be reported within hours of delivery and that is the policy of [redacted] as well Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns you may have[redacted] ***Claims AdjusterCarey Moving & Storage [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because in response to Mr [redacted] 's statement that they do not report this type of loan to the credit bureau, then that means I was lied to once again by representatives of Money MartFirst, I was lied to by " [redacted] " to get me into the loan, then lied to again, not once but twice, by representatives there, including the manager, that if I DON'T pay, it will be reported negatively to the credit bureauI do not appreciate being lied to many times by a company that I thought was reputableAs for not having no idea who [redacted] was, there record will show that on the night of September 20, I took out a payday loanIf they don't know yet who assisted me, then they can check their records to see who processed the payday loan for meThat person was the one who lied to me about the loan helping to rebuild my creditThis company has done nothing but lie to me from the get goFirst, they lie about it helping to rebuild my credit reputation to get me INTO the loan, then they lie again to SCARE me into paying them their high exorbitant fee loans or it'll negatively impact my credit scoreThis is very bad business practice for a large company like Money MartWith them lying to me numerous times, I would like for them null and void my contract and consider it paid in full with the money I've paid them thus farThank you

Mr [redacted] ,Thank you for selecting Carey Moving & Storage to handle your move While we strive to have an incident free move sometimes incidents happen I’m sorry you had damage to a few of your items during your shipment When I had been in contact with you regarding these items I told you we would send someone out to look at them I was informed by the repair company that when they called to set a time to go out you told them you were hesitant to make an appointment and wanted to talk with your wife After several days they were finally able to do an inspection and evaluation on your items I was communicating back and forth with them because I had questions They indicated that you had already made a repair and said you were going to make the other repair yourself and you just wanted reimbursed for the cost of the supplies I’m sorry I did not reply to your email as promptly as I should have during this process I sent you an email at the beginning of the week asking for the receipts so I could reimburse you for those supplies and I have not heard back from you If you would kindly send those I will immediately send you a refund check I will gladly talk with you about any other items or concerns you may have.Thank you again for choosing Carey

Monetary Management of California, Incd/b/a Money Mart hereby respectfully responds to the above-referenced complaintAccording to our records, Ms [redacted] obtained a loan from Money Mart on July 24, This loan was due on July 31, Ms [redacted] did not return to the store to pay in cash by the close of business on the due dateAccording to the terms of the loan agreement, payment was submitted electronically on August 4, It was returned by her bank unpaid on August 10, 2015.After conducting a full review of our records, we are unable to verify Ms [redacted] 's claim that we stated that her loan payment would be deferred until August 13, Although the contract clearly stated that the loan was due on July 31, Ms [redacted] 's check references "8/13/15" in the memo lineThis indicates that the store may not have clearly communicated the correct due date to Ms [redacted] at the time of the transactionThus, if Ms [redacted] can provide proof of the fee charged by her bank, we will refund the bank fee that was a result of the misunderstood due date.Please extend our apologies to Ms [redacted] for any inconvenience she experiencedI encourage her to contact me directly to provide proof of the bank fee at [email protected] you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at [redacted] Thank you.Sincerely, [redacted] Compliance Analyst

Mr& Mrs [redacted] ’ charges were calculated as outlined by the SC Tariff Bureau, based on actual services performed and actual weight transportedThere were pages of inventoriesOn average each page of inventory equals pounds, which reflects at least a minimum of 15,lbs Carey Moving & Storage has been in business since and do our best to give a accurate estimate but there are outliers and sometimes items are missed being shown to the salesmen, but are easily noticed on move day i.eclosets, under beds, in attic, garage, storage buildings, etc Our system calculates weight based on the average weight of an item and weight can vary depending on the quality and true density Per SC Tariff No 6, payment in full for actual charges is due prior to deliveryThe original amount of $7,was given to Mrs [redacted] on 4/19/when she stated they would be paying by certified check Upon arrival at destination they decided to pay by credit card Mrs [redacted] was then provided with the revised total of $7,to include the 2% credit card fee and reduced valuation amount Supporting documents and weight ticket was scanned to customer per their request on 6/5/The light weight and heavy weight were both obtained at Carey Moving & Storage on a Certified Scale, as required by the SC Tariff, at time of loading and meets all requirements for Intra-state move regulations The Shipper’s Name, Date, To and From information is then added to the printed weight ticket that has the address of the scale locationThe driver who pulled the truck onto the scale to get the heavy weight is different than the driver who loaded the shipment because the office was closed when the crew returned at the end of the day The heavy weight was obtained the next morning and the original driver was on another job so we had another Carey Driver pull it on the scale and sign the weight ticketThe driver did not have the weight ticket at delivery, because it was in the customer’s file and was used to calculate the final charges due for the relocationThe driver does not recall discussing the weight tickets with the customer but did remember the customer asking where the truck was going to be held until delivery Although we did not have the extra people to send to complete the packing in one day, we made adjustments to complete the remaining packing on load day, Monday April Packing charges were based on the actual packing performed by Carey The shipment was loaded Monday, April 17, the truck was parked in our gated/locked yard and never left until delivery on Thursday, April Paperwork is not scanned into the Allied Van Line system for Intra-State moves, as previously stated by Mrs [redacted]

Re: Complaint Response- Complaint ID [redacted] - Ms [redacted] ***Monetary Management of California, Incd/b/a Money Mart hereby respectfully responds to the complaint submitted by Ms [redacted] *** According to our records, on September 21, 2016, Ms [redacted] applied and was approved for a $4, installment loan at our branch located at Stockton Blvdin Sacramento, California The installment loan received has a tiered rate feature with the effective interest rate and corresponding monthly payments decreasing annuallyWe could not confirm that an employee named " [redacted] " worked at this store during the timeline of the complaint details However, we did interview the store manager whom originated this loan for Ms*** Based on that conversation, and given the amount of time that has elapsed since this loan was originated, we could not validate the consumer's claims At this time, we do not report loan performance (positive or negative) to the credit bureaus for this loan productIn line with Ms***'s comments, we have records of complaints submitted on June and June 30, [redacted] from our Customer Service Department also found and communicated similar results to Ms [redacted] when she reviewed and responded to both complaints However, we did find that there was approximately a 1-week lag between the customer's complaint submission on June 6, and [redacted] 's unsuccessful first contact attempt As a company, our goal is to attempt to make initial contact with a customer in a timelier manner We will be forwarding this issue to customer Service management for reviewThe loan agreement signed by Ms [redacted] is legally binding and she is still obligated to pay all amounts owing there under As we have no evidence of the alleged misinformation provided to Ms***, we are unable to provide the customer with her desired settlement We encourage Ms [redacted] to contact our collections department at [redacted] to discuss payment arrangements that work with her budget.Sincerely, [redacted]

According to our records, *** *** received a $installment loan from our Money Mart branch located on McHenry Avenue in Modesto, CaliforniaMs*** received a copy of her loan agreement which included her payment schedule as well as interest rate. A statement of her
current balance is being mailed to her. We are willing to work with Ms*** during her current health and financial circumstances. Please note that as of March 5, 2018, all collections activity on the account was suspended. In good faith, we are willing to waive all accrued interest and fees on the account totaling $1,114.88. This leaves the principal amount owing of $2,196.51. We encourage her to make payments at intervals and amounts she is able. Please also note that we do not currently report loan performance to the credit bureausWe hope we have resolved this issue to Ms***’s satisfaction

The office where I'm complaining about this is *** *** *** it's off of El Dorado and Martin Luther King Boulevard in Stockton California the ZIP code is I was turned away due to the color of my skin like I said before when I went to receive some money that was sent from the state of Georgia to Stockton California they told me that only send money that I was unable to receive any money from that particular location and saw an expanded person went inside and did the exact same request and got his transaction I saw it with my own two eyes and that's why I made the complaint so I want to go forth with this complaint if possible I would like to sue for discrimination because of the color of my skin I will go back there to the location of the Money Mart and received the woman's name who denied me service and I will get back to you thank you for your time hope to hear from you soon

The address listed on Ms***' complaint is almost miles away from the Money Mart location where this incident allegedly occurredIn addition, Money Mart has no record of Ms*** visiting the locationIs it possible that she identified the wrong company or location in error?
