credit bureau inquiry was authorized during the application process.We were unable to validate [redacted]'s claim that she contacted us for assistance prior to filing a dispute with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ("CFPB”), In our responses to both of her complaints filed with the CFPR, we attempted to explain that the application was completed online, and we did not indicate that [redacted] applied in one of our retail stores. We apologize for any possible misunderstanding that our responses caused [redacted].We do not dispute the fact that a fraud alert was on [redacted]'s credit file at the time of application, However, the applicant passed our online identity validation knowledge based assessment. We. did not attempt to contact [redacted] via phone as she alleges. Prior to completion of the loan application for a new customer, we require that the applicant to submit supporting documents, such as a valid identification. As none of this was submitted for this application, it was cancelled and no loan was issued.As stated in previous: correspondence to [redacted] [redacted], if the September 10, 2016 online loan application was a result of identity theft or fraud, we require that [redacted] filed a police report before we can request the removal of the credit inquiry from [redacted]. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I received the response from the business, and I am not satisfied.  The owner did not respond to very much of the complaint.  He did not address the fact that he had very poor customer service skills and how rude he was.  Not to mention, whenever I called about the vehicle, he didn't seem to know what the vehicle was in for.  He was a very confused man.  He was even confused when my daughter called the following day when the car still wasn't running right, he thought the vehicle was in for a bumper repair.  The owner mentioned that my husband called about the vehicle, my husband never called or spoke to [redacted] about the vehicle.  My husband works overnight and I have to take care of the vehicle.  [redacted] made it seem in his response that the vehicle is only my husbands, because it is registered to him.  [redacted]'s Auto body sign says free check engine light, it does not follow up by saying you must pay a diagnostics fee after the find a code.  None of this was ever explained to myself or my daughter when the car was dropped off.  My daughter specifically asked on more than one occasion that the problem would be figured out free of charge because it was a check engine light.  He was also told not to fix anything or begin charging anything until I was contacted.  If a diagnostics fee was going to be charged, he should have said that when I picked my daughter up from the shop when she dropped the car off.  In my eyes his sign is misleading and false advertising.  I [redacted]'t feel as if I should have to pay a diagnostics fee of $82 in which was never discussed with me, the sign said free check engine light, and thats what the car was there for...therefore it should have been free, otherwise [redacted] should have said we are doing a diagnostic and it is going to be an $82 charge.  Never happened!!!  I am also not satisfied with the fact that he didn't mention anything about the fact that the car is still hesitating between 20 and 25 mph when accelerating.  Our car never did this prior to bringing the vehicle in, and after paying $647 and my car sitting at a shop for nearly 8 hours, I expect that the car would run the same it did prior to the parts being put in by [redacted]'s Auto Body.  The car is still not running right and this is over 3 weeks later!   I was upset the repairs cost so much, but I paid them because I need a car, but I wasn't expecting to pay this amount of money for my car not to run right.  And after bringing it back the following day of repair by my daughter and the answer she received, it seemed like they just don't care and don't want to look into why the car isn't running right after the repairs they performed.  I do have a cause for complaint, considering he price gauged the parts prices!  I am completely not satisfied with the response from the business, and want my car to run right like it did prior to the repairs needed!!  I also [redacted]'t feel as if I should pay an $82 diagnostics fee, when that was never discussed, let alone the price overcharge on the parts!!!!  Not a happy customer what so ever, totally wish I would have went elsewhere for the repair.

A CUSTOMER ACTIVE CARD SO CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS CUSTOMER HAS NOT BEEN INTO ANY OF MY LOCATIONS.  WE WITHDRAW AND LOAD IN OUR STORES .  WE HAVE 5 ON THIS ISLAND, ONE ON MAUI AND TWO ON THE BIG ISLAND SO CUSTOMERS HAVE OPTIONS FOR THEIR CARDS.  CAN YOU SEND ME THE CUSTOMER FULL INFORMATION  NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH AND ANY FURTHER INFORMATION ON THE CARD PLEASE SO I CAN FULLY INVESTIGATE. MANY THANKS

I would like to say don's auto is one of the most unorganized shops I have ever dealt with.after dropping my car off on a wednsday I finally picked the car up on tuesday.nothing was done to the car at all.don the owner said it would be taken care of the day after I dropped it off.I called friday and I was told they would call me after it was complete and the mecanic said that they normally don't work on that kind of a car.even though they had worked on it before.on monday I called to ask what was up with the car avnd iwas told nothing at all.that I would receive a call back right away.nothing happened again ,no phone call so on tuesday I picked my car up after letting it sit in there parking lot 6 days.great job -don's

our company.[redacted] purchased the vehicle on 7/26/11 from our repair shop lot. This was a used vehicle that we acquired through a garageman's lien. The engine in that vehicle was put in from thl')previous owner on 7/30/09. It was installed in 2009, but the engine warranty goes from the original install date.The warranty reads; 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The warranty is non transferable from previous owner.
We did nothing wrong with this.
