I filed for a return for 2016 and had to go through the Id verification at the time they were very helpful. After a few weeks of I was unable to get in touch with my preparer. My paperwork was screw up. Couldn't check my return because the numbers were wrong. Then they spelled my dependent name wrong after I spelled it correct on my paperwork and out of my mouth with my babies social. Then tax season ended and out of trying days on end someone finally called me back because they closed all the local offices. Now my c refund has came and I can't get in touch with anyone. This experience is stressing me out and nerve wrecking. This has been a very displeasurable experience in my case with this company and will not recommend them in the future for even a uhaul rentel

Review: The tax preparers at Money Tax appear to be fraudulent preparers. (I am being audited by the IRS for taxes prepared at MONEY TAX for year 2009 at a different location in the Bronx.)I went in person to file my taxes on 2/**/2013 at MONEY TAX on Boston Road. I spoke to [redacted] NYTPRIN:[redacted] and provided her with all the info needed to file my taxes for 2012. I recieved a copy of my completed tax return but [redacted] never filed them. I have made several calls to the IRS who as of today 9/**/2013 has never received my federal tax return. I contacted the office manager at Money Tax named [redacted] (NYTPTIN [redacted]-EMPLOYER ID# [redacted])on 6/*/2013 who also confirmed that [redacted] never electronically filed my taxes and had actually been fired & no longer worked there. [redacted] assured me she would personally electronically file them and apologized for the mistake [redacted] made. However, after speaking with [redacted] from the IRS on 9/**/2013 my taxes still have never been received from MONEY TAX. I was orginally charged over $300 for the tax prep fee and [redacted] said she would only charge me $100 which would be reflected in the amount of my return, but my return has still never been filed/received by IRS. Due to this huge error, I am now at risk of being in collections with the IRS.Desired Settlement: I would like MONEY TAX to research & confirm the electronic filing of my taxes & submit proof they have been received by the IRS on 6/*/2013.If/when no proof is found, I would like MONEY TAX to submit a letter to me in writing acknowledging their mistake and signed by a manager. I want a comeplete refund of all tax preparer fees & proof thereof in writing (invoice/refund check etc.) Also, as a show of good faith MONEY TAX should provide me a discount for tax services for 2013.
