I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from this business in mid July. After driving 3 hours to pick up the vehicle I noticed that the vehicle didn't have the cargo cover for the trunk compartment that it was pictured and advertised with. When I addressed this issue at the dealership, the salesman stated that the pictures uploaded on Monken's website was most likely stock photos of the jeep and probably weren't of the actual vehicle I purchased. After sitting down and looking at Monken's website with the salesman, it was clear that the photos on the website were not stock photos because we could see reflections of whoever took the photos. I was told that the salesman would talk to the owner ,who was out of the office, and "should" give me a cargo cover and ship it to me. I followed up later that week and was contacted to confirm my address so that it would be shipped to me. I was told it would be about a week. Now it's been over a month and I still have not received it. I called my salesman
We purchased a GM Acadia from this dealership back in 2012-Recently we had transmission issuesGM had posted that there was a defect with the transmission on these car models and that they would cover the warranty on these issues as long as the car had less then 120,miles on it or was within years of the original purchase dateThe issue is that when we purchased this car, apparently Monken never submitted paperwork that we purchased the car to GMThe car was never under our name with GMWe found this out because when I found out the issue to my transmission may be under warranty, GM corporate office said they never received anything from MonkenThis is why I never received anything from GM stating that the transmission may be defectiveI learned about my transmission issue about weeks after the year purchase warranty for this problem expiredSo now, Monken nor GM will cover the expenses for my transmission repairThis wouldn't have been an issue if Monken
