my name is *** and I am the cofounder of a company called MonkeyParkingI have been abroad the past months and I just received all the mails regarding the complaint #***
I am sorry for not replying before,
I thought the dispute had already been resolved by refunding the entire charge to the person originating the complaintSo I was not expecting these mailing and I only now realized we have a chance to answer as a companySo this is what happened:
Nobody of MonkeyParking have been reachable between Aug 29th and Sep 10th and unfortunately exactly in that period we had a technical problem that prevented *** (the person complaining) to access her parking space
As soon as I have been a
ble to connect with *** again we issued a full refund ($190) plus a $additional refund for each day she had to park in a commercial garage instead of our designated parking spaceThe full refund amount was $and you can find attached here the *** transaction, dated Sep 9thWe also offered *** to keep parking for free the entire month of September, since she still had the garage opener to access the parking facility but she did not want to use MonkeyParking anymore
Since at that time we used to receive payments through an external payment provider (Gumroad ***) they put in action their own refund policiesThey did not transfer the payment to our bank account, waiting for an approval from ***'s bank
On Sep 25th since our payment provider was still holding the money I wrote an email to *** asking if she could confirm to her bank that the charge was not fraudulent and she had been already fully refunded directly by us
We are very sorry for what happened with *** but as soon as we realized she had a problem we refunded everything that has been charged before + indemnities for the inconvenienceThis is not what typically a scam is about nor I personally feel like a 'scam artist' in doing it
Sorry for this long email but I wanted to reach out to tell our side of the story and possibly fix the complaint that is now stored in your system
Is there any way we can still fix complaint #*** so that at least the true story can be available to anybody checking it?
