Review: In April, 2011 I bought a Dodge Caravan Handicap Van to transport my wife who has MS from Monmouth Vans ([redacted] in Wall Township, NJ. They told me the van was in great condition and showed me the Carfax. The van was noisy and bumpy so my wife wanted me to trade it in. I went back to them the beginning of July, 2014 to trade it in and they said they couldn't take it because the chassis was so rusted, it was dangerous to drive. I have had it for 3 years and four months, never take it out in inclement weather because my wife is in her motorized wheelchair. I have put 6,000 miles on it since I got it. [redacted] said it was because I live near the beach! I live 25 minutes to a half hour from the water. I think it was in a salt water flood and that they knew it. I paid $24,000 then and they offered me $2,000 now. I took pictures and everyone I showed agreed it was from salt water and took many years for this to happen. I worked on and around salt water all my working life and I never saw anything rust this bad in 3 years.Desired Settlement: I believe the van was a flood damaged auto and they should never have sold it to me. But I paid $24,000 for something that is now worthless. I feel they should compensate me to retrieve at least some of it's lost value.

It was great talking to you about this matter. Monmouth Vans Is no longer In business. [redacted] a national company bought Monmouth Vans about two and a half years ago.

Therefore I really cannot speak to this gentleman's claims l however I did see the vehicle, it was indeed rusted which is very normal for a vehicle almost 10 years old. [redacted] makes lt appear this is a 2011 model, it is e 2005. He lives less than 10 miles from the Atlantic Ocean, even though he attempts again to mislead by stating he is a half hour away.

Salt air is Very corrosive, especially after 9 years. I see many vehicles at that age and unquestionably they have similar issues due to environmental conditions at the Jersey shore.

As I Indicated to you, the Revdex.com serves us all and I personally have great respect for your organization and its purpose.

l wish I could have helped [redacted] find a solution, but in this case we did not sell him this unit, we are taking the brunt of his complaints and unreasonably so.
