It's unfortunate that *** *** *eels he was wronged and for our part I do apologize that one of my managers did not call him backWe have made a lot of changes here with the ownership change and we put customer service and satisfaction at the top of the listWe failed to do so in this instanceIt always hurts for a client to feel the way *** ***n does about his experience but I can assure you we do not practice in any deceptive trade practices and never willAt this point I will honor any advertised price on any vehicle in stock for *** ***n and if he can sell his car on his ownIf Austin will give him more for his trade and discount the car $then *** *** will be getting the deal of a lifetime and should be very happy and it is our lost sale

while we are very sympathetic to anyone having issues with a car purchased from us most of the issues referenced are truly maintenance item not relevant to BMW or BMW of San AntonioWhile they are individually minor issues I can absolutely understand the frustration they could cause.I referenced
all of the inspection reports of the car before we sold it and the battery, tires and all other items checked out great including a printout of the battery and an alignment of the wheelsWe covered the cost of the battery in consideration of it happening within 1,miles of purchase even though it was fine when we sold the carAs far as the tire is concerned I apologize that we did not do a better job inspecting the tire for a leak rather than just filling with airThe reality of living in San Antonio is the number of pot holes and rough roads that create lots of tire sales due to impact damageWe also covered the oil cap gasket which might have been over tightened because it didn't fail due to ageThe only real warranty issue would be the A/C which is absolutely covered by BMW's warrantyI absolutely apologize for the one or two missteps we might of made in handling your service visits but we have covered all of the cost as goodwill toward the relationship A car is a licensed and tiled entity (like a house) and while the consumer and the retailer are protected under the Lemon law none of the concerns brought forward qualify for consideration under the lawRegardless of the law Principle Auto always wants to try and resolve any customer frustrations in a positive wayWe would be more than happy to try and trade you out of the car into something elseWe will assess the trade in value of your car with current mileage and put that against any car in our inventoryOne great thing about doing this is it relieves most of the tax on the new car which saves you from paying tax again.I am copying *** *** on this who is our Pre-owned director should you choose to try and go this route.Looking at the history on the car I truly believe you just have been the victim of some oddball issues and if you give the BMW some time you will be very happy with the carBMW has a great warranty and the cars are amazing to drive! Thanks*** ***BMW of San AntonioGeneral Manager

Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding on transferring vs issuing a Veterans plateWhile we can transfer a Veterans plate when a client trades in the car we cannot issue Veterans plates on a new car purchase it has to be done by the VeteranWe have refunded the money and are very sorry for the
inconvenienceWe had an inexperienced salesperson get a learning lesson and have implemented a process to preclude this from happening in the futureWe thank Mrs*** for her service

We are sorry Mr*** feels misguided but this is a very simple agreement and one of our top selling products to protect BMW owners beyond the manufacturers maintenance planIt is also laid out with initials on each pageI have attached a copy of the agreement with Mr*** initials right
below the cancellation clauseThe clause above that goes into how to transfer the coverage which greatly increases the resale value of the vehicleMrStuckey did respond quickly and provided the information asked for but this is an insurance policy held by BMW and the only way to get a cancellation is in the event the car is totaled Mr*** bought a fantastic car and increased it's resale value with the maintenance protection Mr*** did nothing wrong and insured that all required signatures and initials were signed

Again while I feel for Mr*** situation we in no way did anything wrong or fraudulentI have the initial write ups that show the car needed the seat mat recall, the battery was weak, the radiator hose was leaking and the CID screen was not working and he signed that he was declining that repairHe worked with Spanish speaking Advisors and even brought in a translator to talk with our manager to make sure it was clearWe performed the seat cushion replacement in his car which would have nothing to do with anything mechanical or electronicOut of empathy for his situation we agreed to goodwill (pay for) his battery and radiator hose and he agreed that would be fine and make him happyAgain how could we be held responsible for something that wasn't working when he first brought it in and it was notated on the paperwork he signed? The only reason I mentioned he didn't buy it from us is if he had we would of inspected the car and noted any issues with itObviously if? the car was in this condition we would have never sold the car to one of our customers. We feel great empathy for Mr*** we have not charged him any money and have paid for the necessary repairs to get his car runningAt this point we have been nothing but a caring and generous dealership and are disappointed that Mr*** feels otherwise. We are the 5th largest BMW dealership in the US and did not grow to this size by mistreating customers or ever committing any fraudWhile we are not perfect our Revdex.com record shows that if there is a valid complaint we have always responded in a way that resolves the issue with our clients and I am disappointed we can't here.? Sincerely *** ***General Manager? ?

Revdex.com,BMW of San Antonio has acted in good faith and performed all repairs diagnosed and approved by Mr*** up to this pointAll the repairs were gone over in detail for Mr*** and when the car left it was operating as designed in relation to the repairs we madeThe reality of the
situation is the age and mileage of the vehicle it is a BMW with over 170,miles on itIt is very likely the car will continue to have more and more problems related to the age of the vehicle as more repairs are made and not be related to the perceived failure? of? our techs to make repairs. These 750's sold for over $80,new and with the age and mileage of Mr***s the car currently is probably only worth between $6k-$8k on the open marketWhile BMW's are some of best built and technologically advanced cars built it does not make them impervious to just wearing out. While I can empathize with Mr***s situation it does not make us liable (or crooked) ? nor give him the right to verbally abuse and curse out our staff (which he did)Even after that we repaired his car with his approval for the unrelated repairs.Sincerely*** ***GM BMW of San Antonio? ?

We are very aware of Mrs *** situation and have communicated with the roadside service provider on the issue and we are very sympathetic to her situationFrom a mechanical standpoint there is no physical way that any service work we did could of caused the damage to the vehicleThe fact that the
suspension is bent suggests it was damaged while driving or being pulled onto a wreckerMy guess would be the first wrecker driver caused the damage and then because he couldn't complete the job left the damaged car without knowledge to the owner, the secondary wrecker company or us.At this point we cannot file a claim against the roadside company or wrecker company an behalf of Mrs*** she would need to do that herself.? If that did nor work she can file an insurance claim on her insurance and have them subrogate against the roadside companies insurance.? Again we feel very badly for Mrs*** situation but we absolutely could not of caused the damage based on what they are and the work we did.? Sincerely*** ***General ManagerBMW of San Antonio

First, I would like to extend my gratitude and appreciation
to **.? *** for his prompt response
and offerI could continue and display my non satisfaction; however,
this has to end.? ? I graciously accept the offer, with one caveat,
the allocated funds be paid to Lone Star Collision, as I will take the vehicle
there for repair of the bumper.?
This whole matter could have been avoided if only someone
would have call me to discuss the issues and possible options.? No one did until yesterday, August 24, 2015.?
In conculsion, my gratude to *** ***, DR Specialist, for her participation in the resolution of this matterI have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***3, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Regards,

While I feel for Mr*** situation we have only performed factory recalls on his car and none of them have had anything to do with the problems Mr*** car hasWe replaced a battery at our expense as a gesture of goodwill even with the number of electrical issues with the car (which more than
likely caused the drain on the battery)One of them was a battery cable recall which might of caused the battery to go bad so we replaced it as a courtesy.Mr*** has a 525I with 171,miles on it and we have told him on each visit (times since 2/28/2018) the car needs a good amount of work and he has declined to spend any money with us on needed repairsThese needed repairs will only continue to compound the issues he is having with the car.Again while I feel for Mr*** situation I fail to see where we have any responsibility to? the condition and needed repairs to his carHe did not buy it from us and we have never worked on the car prior to his first visit in February. At this time we have to deny any responsibility and hope the Revdex.com can understand our position in this situationIf I felt we had any responsibility to the situation we would rectify it like we always have!? Thanks*** ***General Manager? ?

I think there was a misunderstanding on the cancellation of the gap and tire and wheel coverageMr*** cancelled the contract within? daysUnder the agreement with our lenders we are required to refund any cancellation's to the lienholder to reduce the noteAttached is a copy of the
check issued on June 7th in the amount of $1943.00.? Sorry for any confusion hope this resolves any issues.? *** ***
General Manager

We are aware of Mr*** but we are confused as to this being a Revdex.com issueWe were delivering his car over hours away when a piece of sheetrock fell off of a truck and damaged the front grillOur delivery driver actually stopped and got the? piece and had the picture taken to show Mr
*** the damageUpon arrival for delivery *** *** spoke to Mr*** and apologized and said things like this happen when doing courtesy deliveries but we will fix the repairsAt that point Mr*** became difficult to talk to and said never mind we would be hearing from his attorney.? Again at no time did we deny what happened or do anything but offer to repair it! So we are confused as to what this is forIf he would call *** we can arrange for the repair as we have offered from the beginning.? Sincerely *** ***General Manager BMW of San Antonio

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:? Because unfortunately, the truth is, they’re trying to value my car by using a word impervious or comparable vehicle age with thousands more miles on itMr*** stated: That BMW’s are some of best built and technologically advanced cars built.? The fact still remains BMW of San Antonio is charging customers for list prices on parts, charging for diagnostic that were not run and finding things wrong with your carEach time you take your car back in, you're getting charged for labor and diagnostic fees that are needless or overpriced servicesThis is unfair and misleading business practices that has to end
