interviewed our salesperson and combed through all documents, The agreed upon contract was not $13000, it for a selling price of a [redacted] for $12900 to the customer. We had agreed upon acquiring the customer the best interest rate with [redacted] and giving him $2000 for his trade in. The market value for a 2011 [redacted] is still in the equivalent price range. The customers trade in ended up having a rebuilt title and was not fit for the road and was sold at auction well below the 2000 we gave him on trade in. The customer signed multiple documents provided by [redacted] as well as a clear cut bill of sale from our business which we will include. In concerns of the truck not being inspected, it was inspected 2 months earlier and we told the customer we would update the invi and we did update the mvi for him , the customer seemed to be in a rush the day he came in to sign and we had no idea he had any mental illness. The customer said he would come back in a week and pick up a new rear seat which we had promised and he did show up to pick it up. At anytime during the week he was driving it did he mention anything mechanically wrong. About 1 month later the customer came in with his wife and he said he thought we were selling him the truck for 11000 less his 2000 trade in. We showed him all the documentation again and he seemed confused. We explained all of this to his wife and everybody seemed fine. We have not heard anything from the customer since that date until this month. All of our customers vehicles are always inspected for safety as that is our companies priority to sell a quality vehicle, hence why we have very low complaints for the number of vehicles we sell and we always provide a 30 day warranty with vehicles we sell. Also this customer has a 2 year warranty on his power train ie motor, transmission. We honestly would love to address this customers complaints however we cannot do much after a 6 month window. He has a binding contract with [redacted] and he agreed upon the contract and the hi weekly payment amount.
