Review: We rented an apartment for my son from this company in 2011 and paid $750.00 deposit which was refundable after 45 days we vacate the apartment. He lived there for 3 years, during those 3 years no repairs were done to the apartment even after so many requests. My son send them a letter in June 2014 that he will be vacating the apartment on July 31, 2014. Then he send them a text message to make an appointment with [redacted] so he can turn in the keys and also to show him the apartment, so the company wouldn't have any issues after he leaves the property. No one from this company called him back. The apartment was vacated on July 31, 2013 and the same day another text was sent with no acknowledgement from them.
I called on July 7,2014 and left a voice mail, no one returned my call. I send a certified letter on Aug 13, 2014 notifying them again of the apartment has been vacated and to request my security deposit back. The return receipt for that letter was signed by [redacted]. I still did not hear anything from them. I decided to wait 45 days after the apartment was vacated which was completed on Sep 15, 2014. I called on Sep 16, 2014 and left a message for [redacted], as of today I have not heard anything back from the company. Please advise what can I do so I can get my security deposit back.Desired Settlement: According to the lease the security deposit is refundable within 45 days of the property being vacated.
