Thank You for the opportunity to respond to this complaintEverything that the Customer has said about what happened to her vehicle is correctshe did bring her car in for service and leave it, we did move the car to begin repairs, we did turn the car off and on several times without any problems, and the ignition cylinder did lock on the carit is untrue that I did not or do not care about the customer or this issue with her vehicleI care very much about all my customers vehicles and strive always to provide the highest level of professional servicewe don't run scams or try to rip people off, we are a Christian owned and operated business and we deal honestly with all our customers and do business with the utmost integrityThe reason I said she was lucky it happened at our shop is that it could of happened anywhere, perhaps in the middle of nowhere and she would have been stranded and had to pay to have it towed tobe repaired but she didn't have to go through that because it was hereHowever the bottom line is that we did not do anything negligent or incorrect in any way to cause the ignition cylinder to lock...the sad truth of life is that things break and you never know when they are going to break...the customers ignition cylinder simply quit working because it was worn outwe took it to a locksmith and they verified that it was worn out and failed because of ageI am sincerely sorry that this occurred while the vehicle was at our shop but it was not caused by myself or anyone in my employ and therefore I did not feel responsible to pay for the repair of the customers worn out part simply because the failure occurred at my facilitythere are many many many parts to a vehicle and they fail everyday....my wife pulled her car in our garage a few months ago and turned it off as but when she got in it the next morning it would not start because the ignition on her car had locked up as well...should I bill my landlord for the repair because it happened in the home he owns? Even though this was not caused by us we did not charge this customer for the labor of the repair but instead simply asked for her to cover the price of the parts and instead of a thank you for that we got this complaintThank you for that...God Bless

Thank You for the opportunity to respond to this complaint. Everything that the Customer has said about what happened to her vehicle is correct. she did bring her car in for service and leave it, we did move the car to begin repairs, we did turn the car off and on several times without any...

problems, and the ignition cylinder did lock on the car. it is untrue that I did not or do not care about the customer or this issue with her vehicle. I care very much about all my customers vehicles and strive always to provide the highest level of professional service. we don't run scams or try to rip people off, we are a Christian owned and operated business and we deal honestly with all our customers and do business with the utmost integrity. The reason I said she was lucky it happened at our shop is that it could of happened anywhere, perhaps in the middle of nowhere and she would have been stranded and had to pay to have it towed tobe repaired but she didn't have to go through that because it was here. However the bottom line is that we did not do anything negligent or incorrect in any way to cause the ignition cylinder to lock...the sad truth of life is that things break and you never know when they are going to break...the customers ignition cylinder simply quit working because it was worn out. we took it to a locksmith and they verified that it was worn out and failed because of age. I am sincerely sorry that this occurred while the vehicle was at our shop but it was not caused by myself or anyone in my employ and therefore I did not feel responsible to pay for the repair of the customers worn out part simply because the failure occurred at my facility. there are many many many parts to a vehicle and they fail everyday....my wife pulled her car in our garage a few months ago and turned it off as normal but when she got in it the next morning it would not start because the ignition on her car had locked up as well...should I bill my landlord for the repair because it happened in the home he owns? Even though this was not caused by us we did not charge this customer for the labor of the repair but instead simply asked for her to cover the price of the parts and instead of a thank you for that we got this complaint. Thank you for that...God Bless.
