Review: I purchased a very expensive racing package for my husband for Christmas. We went at the end of the season last year (2013) to redeem and his session (we chose a date that coincided with celebrating his birthday) was rained out. I could not reschedule at the time as they had not yet developed their schedule for the 2014 season. I then called to reschedule in early September of this year (2014) to again schedule to celebrate his birthday (early October) and there were no sessions left available. I was notified at this time that this was their final season. I was NOT notified at any time (they had multiple forms of contact information from when I purchased the gift certificate) to let me know they were closing their doors at the end of this season and that I should act quickly to reschedule my husband's session and redeem the gift certificate they sold me. The person I spoke with, Beverly, could not tell me what the owners were going to do regarding refunds but she said she would pass along my message and someone would get back to me. No one got back to me. And no one has contacted me or responded to my subsequent calls, emails, or posts on social media regarding a refund now that the business has closed its doors.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my purchase price given I was not able to redeem the gift certificate I purchased.

Review: I have two gift certificates that expired 2013 but they told me that they would honor them anytime. I was planning on using them this year and come to find out that they have closed.Desired Settlement: I would just like the $200 back for the certificates that I purchased and never got a chance to use.

Review: My brother and I purchased a driving experience from Monster Racing. We had an appointment set up for my dad to drive and we were contacted by Monster Racing that we would need to reschedule. I read on monster racing Facebook page that monster racing was closing down. I contacted them in December of 2014 about getting a refund. I was instructed by an employee named Beverly to write a letter and mail it to them requesting a refund. It is now April and I have not received a refund. I have made multiple attempts and left voicemails for monster racing and no one is calling me back. I see other people are posting on monster racing Facebook page that they are having the same issues.Desired Settlement: monster racing needs to apologize and refund everyone's money that they took and did not honor services.

Review: I purchased a session to drive a nascar in June 2014, you have 12 months to use the session. The company went out of business in October 2014 with no notice to me. They closed all dates for me to be able to use the session that I purchased and have not notified me in any way to receive a refund. They won't answer calls or emails.Desired Settlement: I would like my full refund of purchased price of $399

Review: On 7/19/2014 I purchased a certificate for $399 from Monster Racing Excitement (certificate #140721-10) to drive a race car at the Dover Raceway. Due to medical issues I was not able to schedule this drive until now, July 2015. I went to make the appointment only to find that the company went out of business in October 2014 without any notice. As part of the application I provided all my contact infotmation.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a full refund of $399.

Review: A gift certificate was purchased from Monster Racing. It clearly states that I can use this 10 lap certificate anytime during the 2015 season. I went to schedule it, and was just informed that the business shut down. The person I spoke with said if I wrote an email to him, that he would forward the information to the appropriate person. I still have not heard from anyone. I would be happy if I recieved a refund. Please let me know if you can do anything for me.Desired Settlement: Full refund of the amount for the 10 lap session.

Review: I am not sure I selected the appropriate Nature of Compliant. I purchased 2 (two) gift certificates for laps of Stock Car riding at a charity event that were provided by Monster Racing. The certificates have an expiration date of May 2015. I heard through the news media that Monster Racing was going out of business. I called Monster Racing about this info and they verified its accuracy. When I asked about the gift certificates with an expiration of May 2015 the woman I spoke with said there was nothing she could do for me. I asked about reinbursement of my costs, she stated as I had not paid them they were not liable. She stated I would have to go back to the charity to get a refund. I purchased these gift certificates as Christmas presents & now not only do I not have the purchased service available I am also out the cost. The Monster Mile representative told me just consider it a nice contribution to the said charity. In one respect that is true, however, I purchased the gift certificates in good faith that I would be provided a service.Desired Settlement: I would be happy to be refunded half of the value of the certificates so as not to have totally lost out.
