Rifle is always working to improve our customer service.
I bought a Montana Rifle in a model 1999 and chambered in a 26 Nosler . I bought the rifle for a first time Elk hunt in Colorado . I took the rifle to the range one week before I was to leave on my trip and the rifle would not chamber a round . I am trying to contact Montana rifles at this time to see what they wanted to do about the situation . Meanwhile I will have to take my 7MM mag on my trip . Montana arms quality control must really suck .
Ordered a rifle 8 months prior to my scheduled hunt and was promised it would arrive on time. After dozens of calls the rifle not only missed the ship deadline, but was 5 months late. Each time I spoke with Montana rifles they made promises which were quickly broken.
I understand sometimes items are delivered late; however, the customer service was horrible. They always failed to call me back when they said they would and I had to continually reach out to them.
When the rifle was finally delivered, it came without the scope. Once again, me and the gun dealer started calling them again to get it fixed. I was told the scope would ship in a day or two. After a month of waiting, I called back and it still hadn't even been processed.
I can only hope the rifle is made better than their customer service. From what I've heard from the local gun dealers my experience is not uncommon.
