BetterBusiness Bureau does not have the jurisdiction or authority to consider taxpayer disputes concerningthe collection of local taxes. Rather, the taxpayer is afforded certain rights and remedies, including theright to certain administrative appeals, under Pennsylvania’s Local Tax Enabling Act, Local TaxCollection Law and the Local Taxpayers Bill of Rights that he or she may evoke.However, with that stated, it is Berkheimer’s position to resolve any disputes or complaintsfrom a taxpayer amicably where possible.
