Review: Montecito Skin CAre is a typical example of "Bait and Switch company about a month ago. The company's ad pop-up on the web for a "free sample" of skin care for $4.95 - the cost of postage and handling. There were raving testimonials of those who were impressed by the product. Obiviously staged! I ordered a free sample and I was charged $4.95 for 30ml sample! I received the sample. One day, I was reviewing my account online only to find out that Montecito not only charged $4.95 but also $99.95! I called the company and I was told that that was the cost and indicated they don't offer "free sample". I called again, so I was offered 30% discount! I made it abundantly clear that I was going to take action about their fraudulant business. I received an email which indicated, among other things...tour subscription has been updtaed - all ongoing or all future charges has been cancelled.Desired Settlement: Up till now I've not received the refund.

Review: I am very unhappy with their business practices. I stumbled upon their site because of a trick that I thought was a legitimate link leading for a search for Joann's fabric store. I completed a quick survey about their stores and then my "gift" was a free trial for their product. I only had to pay shipping. It wasn't until after I okayed my order that I realized that they were one of those companies that puts you on automatic billing and on-top of that I accidently got a second item which of course I had to pay shipping on. I immediatly sent them an e-mail telling them I wanted the entire order cancelled. Of course they never replied. So then I called the next day to cancel it and any future shipments they said I could cancel it but I had to pay almost $19.00 in addition to what they were already charging me. On top of that they told me the item had already shipped so they could not cancel the initial order. Yet, I did not get any notice of shipment until 2 days after I orderd it and according to the tracking number it went out 2 days later so why could it not have been cancelled when I called 1 day after I placed it? It's a very sneaky way of doing business regardless of whether they say it's all clear in their "Terms and Conditions". I just don't feel these are good nor ethical business practices.Desired Settlement: I feel they were very dishonest in not honoring my request to cancel the entire order considering I called around noon on 1/28 before the order had been shipped. I do not like they that they not only charged me the shipping of two items (one which I did not want at all) and on-top of that they charged me an additional fee. The ad said it was a "Free Trial" and that I only had to pay shipping on.

Review: I purchase two trial bottles for 4.95 each on 4-20-15 from them and no where in there advertisement did it state the actual price was 89.95 and 99.95 each for 1 ounce bottles of lotion because I would haver never purchased these items. then to my suprise while looking at my bank account I noticed two charges were made to my account , one on 5-3-15 for 99.95 then a second one on 5-4-15 for 89.95. this was a sat and sunday. these were made without my authorization and without notice. I contacted the company and they refuse to refund my money. I was forced even to cancell my account to prevent more charges being made by them. I feel like they ran a scam on me and by not returning my money I know they did.Desired Settlement: I just want my money returned to me

Review: I did not authorize product. Told to use product up to 14 days and return if not satisfied and would not be charged $99.95, just would be charged for ship of $4.95. They then had my credit card number. The product arrived 2 days later, I retuned it immediately unopened. I called to cancel, gave info and was hung up on.2-7-15 I called to Omar and advised I had already sent product back unopened. He wanted my auth#, advised had none. Gave me an authorization #789[redacted]41 and said would credit to my VISA acct $99.95. No credit given me.Montecito Skin - $4.95 billed 1-21-15 - to shown ###-###-#### 2-4-15, billed $99.95 montecito product.Desired Settlement: I am asking to have my $99.95 credited.
