We're not exactly sure what Mr***'s complaint isHe placed a call to our service department stating his a/c was not workingOur dispatch person informed him of the rates and he proceeded with scheduling a service callOur technician
arrived at his house at 7am and found the system froze upHe tried starting the furnace and it would only run for a few secondsThat's when he informed Mr*** that the circuit board may have gotten wet due to all the water running down through the furnaceThe tech then left the blower running on the furnace to try and thaw out the coilHe had another service call a block or so away and thought it would make sense to take care of that call while Mr***'s coil thawed outInstead of sitting doing nothing and charging the customer he left to take care of the other callAbout an hour later the tech returned and found a refrigerant leak outside at the unit and repaired the leak and added refrigerant back to the systemUpon his return the hfurnace was working againHe was not sure, maybe something was wet and the blower dried it out ...hard to sayHe finished the job at 10:a.mHe was at Mr***'s from 7am-8am cleaning up the water mess and then returned and fixed the system from 9-10:It was very considerate of our tech to not just sit there and charge for the waiting timeHe did nothing but try to help Mr*** out by saving him moneyInstead Mr*** wants to scrutinze the tech and company who saved him money???? Nobody likes to spend money on repairs like this but unfortunately it happensMr*** was charge for hour and the refrigerant and a partTotal bill was $Our tech finished at 10:but Mr*** asked questions and the tech did his best to answer them and that's why he left at 11amhe did not charge mr*** for the question and answer session at the endMr*** also failed to mention why our tech was there he had to stop working for a bit while CILCO checked for a gas leak in the basement as wellAs for him saying it should only take an hour or hour and a half...We are perfectly fine with the time taken by our tech to make sure the service call was completed in a good quality fashion

I am not happy with response from MontefuscoIf they sent years experience service person and he says working components is not working and put billable hours to check other componentsHeating system was working correctly and I have video for that & moment I asked what we have do fix heater & how much is cost for that he said we have to change circuit boardWhy he said to customer for changing circuit board if it's working & put minutes to check heating related componentsI don't accept Montefusco statementHere is exact timing for service personCame morning @ 7:worked till 7:am, came back again 9:and completed all work 10:am & I got billed for 2:minutes
