I did not lease to Ms*** under any pretenseMs*** asked me about cable and I explained to her that some of our residents do have Comcast and some do have AT&T but it depends on the unit. Ms***
later came back that evening asking to see that unit again and I took her to see and again I stated when she asked about cable, " some of our residents do have Comcast and some have AT&T but it depends on the unit." Ms*** then submitted her application and paid her application fee and deposit, I collected her identification card and explained that I needed her proof of incomeI told Ms*** that I was about to run her background to see if she is pre-approve or not and if she is then all we would have to do is verify her information. I completed her background and I told her that she was pre-approved and that I needed her check stubs as soon as possible I told her she can fax them or email them to me Ms*** had called a day or two later to check the status of her application and I told her I submitted all of her Rental Verifications and I am now just waiting for them to be returned to me and if I do not receive any of her Verifications by late afternoon I will call their office and resubmitA few days later Ms*** called the office and explained that she called AT&T and they will only offer her internet but not cable and for her job she needs internet, she then went on and said that it's very important that she has internet and she asked about anyone else she can get for cable I then went on explaining that we have Phonoscope and I gave her their information and we ended the callMs*** called back and explained that she did not like the reviews for Phonoscope and it's a company that she never heard of and she doesn't want them I apologize to Ms*** that she feels that way and we ended the callI received an email from Ms*** the following morning stating that she wanted to cancel her application and she wanted a full refund, I replied that I have canceled her out of my system and I will ask my manager if she will get her deposit backMs*** called back and spoke to my Assist Manager where she was notified that she was not getting her deposit because we had her unit ready
