We have received notification of this dispute and will be addressing these concerns
We have conducted business with this client in the past with no issues what so ever, in this particular transaction we had met with the client on multiple
occasions to discuss a plan to insulate his new home which he was completely renovating, we discussed different avenues we could take, from the most energy efficient to a more financially friendly approachThroughout this process changes to the plan were made as most projects do before getting the clients approval to start the work
The price dispute at hand is due to only the fact that a "1" was not entered in the original estimates "units" which then the software did not automatically add the cost of $*** to the estimate plus taxThis was done purposely, when multiple options are given, however the price of this option was clearly written in the description of the work and we were given the ok to take this route
We understand that this may have been overlooked by the client as attempting to be the general contractor on a large job can become quite hectic at times, however the price was written and viewed, we cannot be responsible for over sights by the client
We hope this can be cleared up quickly and will participate whenever necessary

Although I cannot see the original estimate (the supplier uses an online estimate system and has since changed the estimate) it did not indicate that some work was not fully quoted and was optionalThe items were listed and a total quopte listed at the bottomThe vendor is correct that I did notice the descrepacy however the bottom line price was quoted and is what I acceptedThere was no discussion or indication that some line items were not included in the bottom lineThe vendor made an oversight in there quote and they are looking for me to cover the oversightAs a result of the quote not being accurate I passed up an opportunity go with a cheaper vendor
