Review: Montgomery Radiology Associates has failed multiple times to bill the correct primary and secondary insurance payers. [redacted] still has no record of there invoice despite Montgomery Radiology Associates being told that they are the primary payer. They no longer accept phone calls at their place of business and have sent a bill for $77.00 into collections against my son.Desired Settlement: Montgomery Radiology Associates needs to contact both [redacted] with the appropriate information and now they need to contact [redacted] to rescind the collection action. They need to contact [redacted] to resolve the issue.

Response:

We are in receipt of Complaint # [redacted]. The patient had services in June, 2015. The patient's insurance was filed with the information that the patient presented, and the insurance denied indicating that the patient could not be identified; and thus will indicate no receipt of a claim. The patient was sent several statements and did not respond until the account was turned over for collections, and research of the telephone logs, a parent (or someone with the last name of the patient) called and left a telephone number for response on 6-1-16, however, no voice mail was set up on the phone number that was left to call. With this situation, a return message cannot be left. Plus we need to mention that with the HIPPA law; the patient is the only one that we can/or should communicate with unless the patient is a minor under the age of 18. We have contacted the collection company to adjust this account to a zero balance. Also to mention, the service was rendered in June of 2015, this is June of 2016.. 1 year after service is rendered. We have a lot of patients that attend school in our area and unfortunately the failure to communicate leads to accounts being turned out to an outside collection agency, which seems to activate a response from the patient (or in this case the parent) Thank you, [redacted]Montgomery Radiology Associates, Inc. - [redacted]

Review: First billing statement received at this address was dated 2/11/2016 for services performed on 10/15/2014 (Over 1 year ago). The bill stated the $57 as "Current." A second billing statement dated 2/26/2016 was received and paid for with a check dated 3/4/2016 and was cashed on 3/9/2016. A collection notice dated 3/4/2016 was received today (3/11/2016) from a debt collector. No notice was received from this business that the account was overdue or was to be turned over to a debt collector.Desired Settlement: Acknowledgement in writing from the business that the debt has been resolved and to notify both myself and the debt collector.
