Review: On June 24, 2013 my husband took our minivan in to Precision Tune to get the air conditioner fixed. They claim they fixed it, but I later found out all they did was replace the refrigerant. The charge was $174.33 and my husband was never given a receipt. About a week later I drove it and said it didn't seem as though the air conditioner was working. He said he didn't use it but it should be working since we paid so much to have it fixed. I called Precision Tune at that time and told them about the air conditioner not seeming to work and they told me I had to run it on high. I drove it again a month later and told my husband the a/c really was not working. He finally took the minivan back in and then they claimed there was a leak in the air conditioner that they didn't find before. They were trying to charge us another couple hundred dollars to have it fixed, so I told my husband to take the van and not pay them anything since they lied about fixing it the last time. They refused to give him the keys unless he paid another $21.54 for having them look at it. I ended up going up there because I could hear them being unprofessional over the phone and cursing. When I went up there the manager tried to be cordial, but when he went back to tell the mechanic to get the van I could hear him cursing. I asked him for the receipt from when my husband took it in on 6/24/13 and he handed me a printout which did not include that date of service. I asked him why it was not on there and he said he didn't know why. I feel they were trying to hide the fact that they did not fix the the air conditioner properly the first time in order to charge us again. I will never take any of my vehicles in to this corrupt place again!Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded all the money we paid to have our air conditioner fixed that was never fixed in the first place, plus the second fee they charged us just so we could get our van back. The total refund we should receive it $195.87. They have lost our business, as well as the business of our friends, coworkers and neighbors.

Review: On 8/7/14 the owner/manager known as Mr. Q[redacted] of PRECISION TUNE AUTO CARE charged me an outrageous service fee of $500.00 for a PREMIUM TUNE UP and an OIL CHANGE which included parts and labor for my vehicle, a 2000 MERCURY SABLE GS. Payment was made in two forms-a down payment of $300.00 with a credit/debit card prior to the start of services agreed upon and $200.00 in CASH after completion of services agreed upon, done on the same day. Prior to the above mentioned services done on my vehicle by PRECISION TUNE AUTO CARE my vehicle's "check engine" light was on, I made the owner/manager aware of this fact. After completion of the agreed services and the final payment of $200.00 CASH was given to the owner/manager 4 hours later. I returned with my vehicle the next day to complain that the "check engine" light had come back on the owner/manager asked for my keys and went to my vehicle with a handheld device, upon his return he said there was a misfiring and to keep an eye on it, that was all. On 8/9/14 I returned to complain of both the "check engine" light and that I had noticed some shaking and/or rumbling in the engine. The owner/manager asked for my keys, took my vehicle to the onsite garage my vehicle was kept for at least two hours, afterwards, he told me I needed to replace the Ignition Coil and quoted a price of $361.96 including parts and labor. On the same day I purchased an Ignition Coil from a CARQUEST auto parts store in the area but returned it at a later time. My "check engine" light remains on as of this date. The above statement is an true account of a real-life incident that took place in the State of Maryland by a Maryland business owner/manager to a United States citizen and Maryland resident, a firm course of action should be taken against this business owner, by state and county officials to ensure that this owner/manager and other businesses operating on the same platform will not be tolerated in the state of Maryland or anywhere else in the United States of America.Desired Settlement: A REFUND of $500.00 as was the total amount charged to me including the cost of a days salary, which it cost me because I had to take off work to return my vehicle to [redacted].
