Approximately three and a half weeks ago, I finally received shipment of a custom Montres Allison timepiece which I had ordered to be custom made approximately 6 months ago. The project took a little longer than anticipated (about a month). I am satisfied with the watch.
I have no problems with the communication because it was good except that I would recommend giving a customer a bit of a longer anticipated time to completion window so that you can be pretty much guaranteed to complete the watch within that window rather than it taking a little longer. Other than that, I have no complaints. I am submitting this review at the request of Montres Allison to help document their transaction history.
The shipping was FedEx Priority Overnight and it was insured by Parcel Pro. Overall I am satisfied with the watch, the presentation materials, and the shipping. The delay was the only issue, but I was kept apprised of the progress with photos and videos which helped keep me in the loop. I can't complain about the communication... only the production delay. I would recommend Montres Allison but would warn that a custom watch produced by Montres Allison could take longer than they initially tell you it will take to make it. Nevertheless it was a good experience.
