I am rejecting this response because:In order to get my warranty paperwork it will take time but I can get it if need beYour body shop had originally told me that *** could pull that for me, she never has and no one ever mentioned during these past months that you did not have or that I needed to produce it so I have not taken on the task of locating it.It appears that your dealership is unaware of what your after market sales representative at that time I purchased my rustproofing was representingThe whole point of this matter is, I was sold rustproofing, my vehicle is rusting, your dealership advised me that my purchased rustproofing warranty was void due to a manufacturing defectNow, if this was not the case we could have simply ended this months ago by your representatives being forthright and telling me that 1) they did not have my warranty on file and I needed to produce it, 2) even if I produce it it won't matter because what Charlie represented when he sold it is not true, it would not be in effect at this date and we will not honor anything because he "said" it-although I am fairly certain everyone who knew Charlie knew how he sold from what I hear and 3) Ford will not pay the claim for their manufacturing defect so we won't file a claim and string you along and not respond to your emails and tell you we are on the phone for an update and then just never quite get that updaa nutshell-jack me around and waste all of our time. The offer to cover 1/of the repairs, I appreciate thatAt this time I decline that offer, should I choose to repair my vehicle my money will not go to Montrose Ford or any other Montrose Group businessI simply asked for re-imbursement of less than $for something I purchased

Mr*** cane to us with a pre-approval from *** *** and signed a credit application and asked us to submit for creditWe have a signed credit application by Mr*** and did that It was approved but Mr.*** did not like the interest rate we asked him if he wanted us
to try other banks and he agreed we submitted his application to others and they were no better . all we did was on the 8th and 9th of August he a has accused us of stealing his identity

the credit call was from the lender , we tried 6 banks and only 2  gave an approval with the money down . the credit score before and after had only a minor impact. I have both credit applications signed by them .

Business responded via email:
Re ; Mrs. [redacted]
case [redacted]
Hi [redacted] ": Ms . [redacted] purchased her vehicle in October 2013 with
72,000 miles on it the Car fax reflects that we did maintence on the...

vehicle for the previous owner and that there was an accident in January
2013 and that the air bags were not deployed , there is no way that this vehicle should have been salvaged. a couple of days after she took delivery of the vehicle there was a brake pulsation due to rust on the rotors , we replaced both of them at no charge to her, see Repair # 1 for $ 270.00 .
13 months later November 2014 and 19,000 miles later A friend of mine [redacted] called me and asked me to look into the problem and I repaired everything the vehicle needed to include rebuilding the front end and replaced all 4 tires as a goodwill gesture to her at NO CHARGE to her.
On November 17th and 2200 miles later she brought the vehicle back with
a broken motor mound and we also repaired it for201.62 at NO COST to her.
In January 2015 with 96,606 miles on it for a bad thermostat and bent wheel she declined that work.
Whatever is wrong with the vehicle is unknown as we have not seen the vehicle in a year. We did not sell a life time warranty with the vehicle and in my opinion I have been more than fair. As far as I can tell she has not maintaind the vehicle very well.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/02/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The vehicle that was sold to me was misrepresented with the incorrect CARFAX and the dealerships service manager William S[redacted] stated that it "never went through our service department." The vehicle HAS in fact been maintained at other local shops who laughed at the suggestions for service that Montrose Ford made and performed repairs at a third of the estimates given to me by them. If all these repairs were completed-which was not accurate-why after having "four new tires" replaced was I having blowouts on a monthly bases and having the car realigned everytime? Because of the front end damage from the crash. I would be glad to aquire an affidavit from the witnesses who heard you and your staff admit that the vehicle shouldn't have been sold and that you couldn't "eat the cost" of getting me out of this unsafe vehicle. I am not the only person Montrose Ford has done this too and next stop is all of the news channels with my documentation of the constant maintenance. I do not bring the vehicle back for repairs to them because of the mark up on repairs and being treated like I am ignorant-which I am far from. No "lifetime warranty" required, just a safe vehicle as promised that is legal to sell to a paying customer who has given this dealership many chances to rectify the situation. No one has been "more than fair" and no one at Montrose has any idea of the constant repairs I have invested in and how the vehicle is maintained because they are lying, crooks who are only out to line their pockets and protect themselves. Not one person involved with this car thinks that I should not proceed legally or that I am without grounds for a lawsuit.

There is no resolution offered. I have never seen that Carfax report and have my copy which is different. My copy also includes the information regarding the FRONT END ACCIDENT from 1/16/13, but I DID NOT RECEIVE IT UNTIL AFTER THE PURCHASE!!!!! If you note...my signature is nowhere on the Carfax report, bottom signature line which says I have read and reviewed the Carfax report and agree to the purchase. This is because I never saw it until I pointed out I had the incorrect one and received a different version of this AFTER purchasing my vehicle, handed to me by a receptionist!!!! This proves my point exactly. All the work that was done was front end and me declining repairs FROM MONTROSE FORD's service shop does not mean repairs were not done. It means I was not willing to pay their inflated prices. Note how close all the dates are in the times I had to keep taking it in. Why would a dealership do repairs for free if they were not guilty of selling a piece of st in the first place that is UNSAFE!??? All I have to say is I hope they sleep well at night, this documentation only proves my point...this Carfax was NEVER SHOWN TO ME, I NEVER SIGNED THAT I HAD SEEN IT and wouldn't have bought it if I had know about the crash...knowing I would end up where I am now-paying for an unsafe, un-drivable car that should have been salvaged. It sits in my driveway, while I do what I'm supposed to and continue to make payments on it and simultaneously pay $700/month for a rental to go to work and take care of my daughters and responsibilities and can't get financed for a different car because of the negative equity, zero worth of this car.

the receipt is not...

the warranty . Does she have it? We have never sold a lifetime warranty. all warranties only cover only rust through not surface rust . We did also submit it to Ford motor for help as they have  covered rust through panels  up to 5 years . I will however repair the  vehicle and split the costs 50%/50% with her.

The credit app does not limit lenders we only pulled one . The three  others pulled theirs . He gave us permission to shop for a better rate.

I am rejecting this response because: it is falsely stated.  i have an email from them that proves the false statement is fals

my answer is the same  . He was asked to bring it back and did not .

We gave the customer a 1 year warranty for parts and labor . He did not contact us before he did the work with another dealer . we do not pay other dealers to do our work.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/08/02) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept the companies response. The attached paperwork is pointless. The attached insurance information indicates they have a 5,000 deductible which is of little consequence to me. Does that mean they feel they are not liable for damage under $5,000? The attached inspection report is also pointless. As I indicated in my original compliant, Runaway delivered the vehicle to us on 6/4/15. They did not allow time for inspection of the vehicle. They would not drop the car off the transport truck until we signed. Once we signed they dropped the car in the street and left.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/08/05) */
You need to start with the claim to the carrier .

I am rejecting this response because:
The facts of the response are untrue. The work done previously was in the past and had nothing to do with the check engine code the vehicle was brought in for. A 10 year veteran mechanic found the problem in less than an hour, and repaired the problem your 15 year could not troubleshoot. The check engine code came up before I was even a mile down the road from tour shop when your mechanic said the problem was fixed.

we show no record of the purchase on her buyers order and can only tell it was purchased  after the sale  in November 2010 dated 4-11-2010  . the service was done by a third party company . please provide me a copy of the  contract she has .    thanks

The customer was told that we would look at it again at no additional charge . the  earlier repair is not in our data base so I am unable to track down when. Also there was a code that was for a part that was recently replaced by somebody else as well as other parts that replaced by...

others . it is much harder to diagnose a problem that the repair was done by others . as far as  the  PCM being bad it did not trip the failure code when it was in our shop .  The tech that did the work here  is a 15 year master tech.
