Review: We have used Moody Movers 4 times for moves, over $10,000. worth of moves, and never had a problem in the past, until now. We communicated this time totally through e-mails since his booking agent is no longer working for him. We are trying to treat our daughter and her fiance to the moving of just her furniture from an apartment to a townhouse. I had some questions along the way for which I e-mailed [redacted] Moody, the owner. He is claiming there have been 19 e-mails. However, that is including his e-mails back to me, the contract, my acceptance of the contract, thank yous from me to him, additional items in a list (which he asked for) The move is one week away (Sept. 23, 2014). The last e-mail I received from [redacted], he was obviously very annoyed with me, claiming I was bothering him too much. I then wrote an e-mail telling him I did not meant to " [redacted] him off" and that I was done dealing with him and would see his guys on the day of the move. My phone rang Monday evening for which I thought he was calling to maybe say he was sorry. Instead, he proceeded to yell at me and did not let me get a word in. I pride myself on always being nice and I have never had a phone call like this one, which left me in tears. Today, my husband called him at which point he started screaming at my husband and used the F word a few times. The man is out of control, complaining to us, the customers, that he is overwhelmed. Needless to say, we have fired him and hired another very nice mover. I can, if necessary, provide all e-mails.Desired Settlement: I expect a written apology from [redacted], along with a show of appreciation for all the past business we have given him. He needs to understand that his problems, scheduling and being overwhelmed, are not my problem. He had an excellent booking guy, [redacted], who worked for him through all of our other moves. Obviously, he can't handle this business on his own.

Dear **. [redacted]:

My name is [redacted]- I am writing about a complaint that was filed against our company Moody Movers by **. [redacted] (complaint ID of [redacted]). I have included all the e-mails that show what transpired between **. & [redacted], the owner of Moody Movers [redacted] Moody and me.

On Monday, September 16th I received a phone call from **. [redacted] he wanted to discuss his daughter's upcoming move (which at this point we did not have a signed estimate for). After speaking with him for a few moments his tone towards me became belligerent and verbally aggressive. He told me that he was not the kind of man you want to mess with. He stated that if he came to our place of business he would end up in jail because of the physical harm he would inflict on [redacted]. I was concerned for [redacted]'s safety as well as my own because I did not know if **. [redacted] was going to show up unannounced. [redacted] told me to leave for the day because I was so shaken up. Before I left, I discussed my concern with [redacted] about the possibility of being alone in the office and having **. [redacted] show up. He reassured me that he would stay in the office until things settled down.

I realize there are two sides to every dispute. After reviewing the e-mails and taking into account my side of the chain of events I am confident you will reach a fair decision.

Thank you,

Consumer

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: First of all, my husband was never the one to file a complaint in the first place. I do not even know how the Revdex.com got his e-mail address. If you look back at the complaint and all the e-mails, they were from me and my e-mail address. The reason for my filing the complaint was because of a phone conversation my husband had with **. Moody. My husband originally called asking to speak to **. Moody. **. Moody had called me the night before, absolutely blasting me over the phone. He was objecting to my term in my e-mail. I had said I never meant to "[redacted] him off" and he said he was offended by that. After that, he yelled at me the entire time. I always believe in doing things nicely and never have trouble with anyone. I had sent **. Moody e-mails because he had asked for additional information, at which point he said I was overloading him. I got off the phone that evening in tears because I just never have dealings like this with people, especially a business which I am intending to pay dearly for services to be rendered.

When my husband called and asked to speak to **. Moody he was told that he was not around. Within 5 minutes **. Moody called my husband back and proceeded to scream at him and drop the F word no less than 3 times. Supposedly my term of not meaning "to [redacted] him off" was offensive but were we supposed to be okay with utterly foul language?

At this point, we obviously opted out of our move with Moody Movers and that is when I chose to write the complaint to you. My husband never had any involvement with that. May I also point out in the e-mails, that it wasn't until **. Moody learned of my complaint to The Revdex.com that he then threatened to contact the detective at Buckingham township and sue my husband. Was this supposed to make me retract a negative review? I guess we don't have the freedoms that I thought we have.
