Moody's Used Car Superstore Reviews (1)

Unbelievably horrendous customer service. I wouldn't even recommend Moody's Used Car Superstore to Kim Jong-Il. The car I bought would randomly not start a month and half after I bought it. (Mind you the first month I had it I was still driving my old car until I sold it to a family member. So as soon as I started driving the car it would not reliably start). Instead of working with me to solve the problem, the woman in the service department was incredibly rude!!!!!!!! She looked it over claimed the battery was bad and replaced it (which come to find out later the battery probably not bad). I asked how it could possibly need a new battery when I just bought the car, I was told that it was common in Wisconsin to have to replace batteries every few years. That didn't solve the problem, in fact the problem got worse after that. The car went into the Moody's shop twice after that and all I ever got was "We couldn't replicate the problem" and another $40 charge each time. After calling Chevy and asking about recalls and their opinion on the situation, they advised me to take it to a Chevy certified service department. I told the Moody's Service Department that and the woman argued with me about how it wouldn't make a difference because Moody's used to be a Chevy Certified Service Center and they have all the same equipment. Over $500 later (mind you I just spent $13,000 on the car with 19,000 miles on it a month and a half earlier) a Chevy certified service center determined the car had a bad sensor. (Adding that the next time my car inconveniently wouldn't start I was 300 miles away from home on a Sunday when nothing was open, so I missed class to get my car serviced AGAIN).
When I bought the car in October, the air conditioner did not work. When I went to recharge it in the summer, I found the low pressure line on the air compressor completely busted off. That information was never divulged to me when I bought the car (Which is not shocking since they sold it to me with a bad sensor). I would have been better off keeping my car with 200,000 miles on it that only ever stalled once.
If you happen to know very little about cars and are like me and don't have the contacts to assist you in buying a car, don't even blink toward Moody's. They are more than willing to take advantage of their customers to make a buck. The only person who was ever helpful to me there was Randy the multiple times I was in his office trying to work things out. Everyone else was useless. I wouldn't recommend buying any motorized vehicle from Moody's to my worse enemy.
Now I'm stuck with a car I hate because I've had to put more money in than anyone should have to put into a car with only to date 50,000 miles.
