Review: This complaint is concerning Moon Valley at Escondido, CA.

On 2/7/15 we bought 3 trees, total cost $1,403.99. Sales person was [redacted]. Delivery and planting was done on 3/12/15. One tree died. I contacted them on 6/4 and asked for a replacement. ([redacted] would advise [redacted] and he would call back). No response. Finally on 6/6 I called back and finally talked to [redacted]. He said send photos. I sent several photos to him via email on 6/6. No response, and no bounce-back. I resent on 6/12. No response. I resent on 6/18. Still no response.

On 6/22 I called and talked to [redacted]. He asked me to resend the photos to him. I did so on 6/22. No response. I re-sent the email and photos on 6/24. No response or bounce-back. On 6/27 I called and talked to [redacted]. He took a message for [redacted]. On 6/27 I finally received an email from [redacted] stating that he could deliver and plant a replacement tree on 7/7. I said OK.

On 7/7 AM, I called to see what time the delivery would be made. The person answering the phone ([redacted]) didn't have any information and would have to call me back. He finally did and said that he was able to contact [redacted] and that he said the tree was not acceptable and that they would find another and deliver it in 5 to 7 days.

I am convinced at this point, based upon the lack of follow-through, confusion by [redacted], and poor customer service in the past that had I never called, I would have spent the day here with no delivery or call. I want a refund for 1/3 of my bill. Do not even think about trying to deliver a replacement tree. I simply do not trust your organization anymore.Desired Settlement: I want 1/3 of my invoice credited back. (Invoice #[redacted] dated 2/7/15). That would amount to: $467.99.
