June 9, we purchased a vehicle from this company for $2,We took it to a mechanic to review and the mechanic said it was a sound carThe mechanic was the recomendation of I & S On June 10, 2015, we took the car to our personal mechanic who said the bottom of the car was completely rusted out and unsafe to drive We attempted to stop payment on the money order that we had obtained to purchase the car, but was unable toWe took the car immediately back to I & S to request a refund We were told to come back the next dayThey kept almost $of our money for "processing" fees, they said, and refunded us the rest
In May of I bought a *** *** for a total of $from I&S AutoWas told at the time of purchase that the van ran "beautiful" and did not
have any problems other then a brake light switchI was also told at that time that "they did not sell cars if they have major problems"The day I brought the car home the check engine light came on, upon doing a diganostic pull of the code it turns out the van has a multiple of Emission (Osensors and EVAP System), Electrical (Shorts), Engine Mechanical (Timing chain and overheating), and ABS problems, (ABS Module failure), problems that will exceed the cost and value of the van several times to repairSince I live in a OBD testing community where a passing result is required to register a vehicle, this van will not pass Inspection and therefore cannot be registered or driven where I liveI am out of options as I cannot get any more temporary tags, I cannot get any more State inspections, and have currently been force
