Have to say I was very impressed with Mooney Movers for my move from Scottsdale, AZ to Park City, UTThe sales rep, ***,was very hhelpful with all my questions and gave me an estimate that would not exceed what she quoted but could go lower which helped as I was still weeding out somethings I wasn't going to moveThe crew was very efficient with the packing and loading the truck, and they even had pads on the entry way and put oxes down on my hardwood floor so they wouldn't scratch it! I did have some plates broken when I was unpacking but called *** she had *** help resolve the issueI will definitely use them again

I have reviewed the complainants responseIn response to the claim that they have a gallon tank, one of the compartments is a pump chamber that will normally have to gallons in it dependent on the status of the pumping cycleI only measured the first tank the septic tank component since that is were all the solids accumulatePumping the pump chamber component is done to remove the fine solids that accumulate thereIt would be harmful to the soil absorption system if the solids level in the dose chamber was allowed to get to the 1/full levelIn response to disposal the waste it was stored in one of our storage tanks and was or will be injected into one of our land application sitesOur internal company charge for land disposal is $per 1000/ gallons for septageI will not be supplying documentation to substantiate this charge.
In conclusion: I feel that I was performing the service that was requested by the complainant (as our phone log shows) to the best of my ability, knowledge and experience with these systemsThis is a very busy time of year for use and I will no longer be able to participate in this conversationI feel I am at least due the fee for exposing the septic tank cover that needed to be exposed in order to inspect the systemI will accept what the complainant feels is fair and just.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]While I can appreciate the credentials of the septage
service operator, I strongly disagree with his decision to pump our septic tank
for the following reasons:First and foremost we ordered only an inspection for
$85 and we indicated that our system should not need pumping at this
time as it has only had minimal use.
(Note: upon receipt of the bill we sent a check for $85 to cover the
inspection)Second, since the last pumping ( just prior to our purchase
of the house 3 years ago) it has only been occupied for approximately 350 days
(weekends mostly) by 2 people ( my husband and I ).Third, the size of our tank is actually 2000 gallons (1200
gal septic plus 800 gal pump chamber) as per Ozaukee County records and not
1500 gal as stated by Statewide Septic. Records from the previous owners
indicate that this same company pumped 2000 gal on June 5th
2012 and on June 5th 2015 (this year) they reported pumping 1700
gallons. Widely available industry estimates indicate that a 2 person household
with a tank of this capacity should only need pumping every 9 – 12 years. This
same company’s own mailing advertises “Your County maintenance is due. Pumping
may not be needed if your system has minimal usage”. I quite frankly cannot
imagine a system receiving much more minimal use than this one.My husband and I are both microbiologists for the past 34
years and have a decent knowledge of anaerobic bacteria and the importance of
their role in such a system. A lack of these organisms would require the
introduction into the system of some sort of antimicrobials such as bleach,
cleaning products, medications, etc. which would inhibit their proliferation.
Use of any of these products was absolutely minimal and the washing machine in
this house has never been used (i.e. no bleach). As for paper products , no baby wipes, tampons or for that
matter any paper products other than the same single ply toilet paper has ever
been flushed in this house. And furthermore this same toilet paper when
immersed in water readily disintegrates into a milky solution with little
residue. That this company’s noting of a high paper accumulation is very
difficult to accept.  We have contacted
the Department of Safety and Professional Services in Madison for another
opinion and were told that with the information we provided an inspection only
was warranted. Our somewhat delayed response was due to our attempt to
contact area companies that accept waste from area pumpers. Our purpose was to
see what cost was incurred by Statewide Septic for dumping of our waste. Since
these records must be maintained by both the pumper and the receiving facility
we have contacted the companies in Port Washington, Saukville, Fredonia,
Belgium, Grafton and Cedarburg with no record of dumping the waste by this
company.  It is our understanding that
this company also is authorized to spread septage on farm fields which may be
the explanation.
Although we do not
feel the pumping was warranted and was not
requested we recognize that the company did provide a service and we are
willing to pay ½ of any cost they incurred to dump our waste, once we receive
this documentation.

[redacted]

Thanks for your letter reference the above complaint. I must admit I am new at this, with 30 plus years in the business I have never had to deal with a Revdex.com complaint. I have included a copy of the phone order sheet that was filled out at the time of job order. I have also included the work log that...

is filled out by the septage service operator, (myself). As you can see from the phone order paperwork the home owner did state that the tank covers were exposed and that she did not have a key for the lock. The order also states that we should pump if needed. I did sludge judge the tank and found it to be at the 1/3 full level. There are many reasons why a tank will accumulate solids faster than normal. My best guess with this tank is lack of anaerobic bacterial digestion leaving the paper products in their normal undigested state. I did note a high paper accumulation with this tank. As far as job lead time, we were telling our customers that it can take as long as 3 weeks to get to the job, but we will do it when we get in the area. I happened to be in the area of this customer sooner and did it while I was there. I do notice that my Office did quote the wrong price for this type of system our normal price for a 2 tank 1500 gallon system is $235.00, I will honor the $185.00 price quoted. As to my credentials I am a Wisconsin licensed POWTS Inspector, Soil Tester, DNR licensed Septage Service Operator in-charge. I have served on the Board of WOWRA the state association for septic system installers. and I am currently a board member of WLWCA the state association for the Septage Service Industry. I was the only licensed professional that saw the accumulation of this system and my opinion was that it should be pumped. I have offered to come up with a compromise with the complainant, but I do not feel that she was ready to talk yet, I hope you can help. Thanks [redacted]s OIC Statewide Septic Service.

Mooney Movers did complete a local move for Mr & Mrs [redacted].  Operations was told by one of the crew members that the mirror was broken by the crew.  The mirror was put in for repairs.  Approximately 3 weeks after the completion of this local move, [redacted] called our Mesa office and...

stated that there was damage to the garage floor.  At this time Mrs. [redacted] was informed that any property damage had to be reported to the office immediately as stated on the Local Bill of Lading.  When the mirror damage was fixed our Operations Manager call the [redacted]'s but the number they had on file was disconnected.
The [redacted]'s have not tried to contact our office for if they had they would have been informed of the repairs to their mirror.
Mooney Movers Inc is an interstate agent for [redacted] lines, but this is for interstate moves only and does not pertain to local moves.  If the [redacted]'s truly did contact [redacted] lines they would have been told to contact our office direct for any claims.
We are not sure what other damage the [redacted]'s are referring to but if it includes any cartons that they packed by themselves, these items are not covered under the basic valuation which they signed for.  Basic Valuation is covered at 60 cents per pound per article.  When the [redacted]'s first stated the damage to the mirror our office did offer to pay them at the 60 cents per pound, which was $50.00 for the damage.  The [redacted]'s refused this payment so we did have the damage repaired, and this mirror is awaiting to be returned to them once they call our office, since we do not have their newest contact information.
The [redacted]'s can contact our Mesa office at ###-###-#### and ask for [redacted] our Operations Manager for the return of their mirror.  The claim for the damage to the garage floor is denied due to them not contacting our office immediately as stated on the local Bill of Lading.

As stated in our first response, your mirror has been repaired and we are just awaiting your phone call so that we may deliver it to you.  As per our first response, [redacted] is an Interstate Carrier and will not respond to any local move issues, we also stated that since you waited 3 weeks until putting in a complaint about damage to the garage floor we are denying any liability since we could not inspect the damages at the time you claim them to take place.  The only damage we are taking liability for is the mirror which has been repaired.

Review: We contracted with Mooney Movers, Inc. to move our belongings two miles from our rental home into our new home. They arrived two hours late with lots of complaints about how tired they were. The job was estimated to take 4 hours and it took over 8 hours. They damaged many items when moving our possessions. They broke the feet off a newly purchased mirror, which they still have possession of. They broke several irreplaceable items, including several very old and valuable art pieces. They did not secure my husband tool box, they loaded it into a a moving van without securing the tool box. The truck was not packed correctly and the tool box rolled over, bending most of the drawers, and scattering tools everywhere. The tool box is not repairable and needs to be replaced. They also damaged our new flooring in the garage.I have attempted to discuss this with them ([redacted]), and he was very abusive on the phone, yelling and yelling at me. He promised to come over and look at the damage and repair and bring back the mirror. NONE of these things have happened. We sent an email to their home office, [redacted] Moving, requesting help with this and have not heard back from them either. We estimate we have over $1924.00 in damages. We understand they have insurance and would like to file a claim or be reimbursed. We have pictures of the damage and a list of damages.Desired Settlement: We have over $1924.00 in damages and would like a refund or the ability to file an insurance claim with their carrier or both!!
