I am so disappointed in my experience with Moon Pie I placed an order for my school last week I thought I selected expedited shipping, but my receipt said ground shipping, so I immediately sent an email The company responded that my order "was going out tomorrow, and you should be fine with ground."
Friday rolled around and no Moon Pies At this point, I had already tried to contact the company several times by phone and kept getting a mailbox is full message I reached out to their Facebook page and was given several other email addresses to try I emailed immediately on Friday
I just now, on Sunday, was sent an email that stated that due to the overwhelming demand of Moon Pies, my order was cancelled and a refund will be issued
A company should not take orders for products that they do not have in stockStaff should not lie to customers about shipping the items And a company certainly should have a phone number that actually works
Thanks toMoon Pie, I get to explain to my students in all classes tomorrow that the Moon Pie snack was cancelled at the last minuteWhat a disappointment!
As of today, no refund to my card has been issued
