RE: [redacted] Dear Revdex.com.During a call for work at the neighbor of the complainant, our technician did disconnect the controlwiring for the unmarked, incorrect unit at this Condo complexUpon being made aware of the emor, we reconnected the wiring and found the condensing unit, did not start and would not function due to defective capacitor in the unit(Due to age and condition of the unit, nothing that our staff touched)After the tenant's threats and complaints, we replaced the defective component in the condenser and added a leak stop additive (since the leak could have been anywhere in the old system), charged the unit with Freon to get the system running once again.Our technician started the system and checked the operation and reading per standard procedureAfter the repairs the tenant called thanking us for handling the issueThe tenant was advised of our findings and told about the age and condition of the units.We more than addressed our error by completing the repairs to the wiring they disconnected; we replaced the capacitor, charged unit and got the system running that would not have functioned.We do not assume responsibility or guarantee for any existing HVAC equipment or components that we have not installed
