This is about the most unprofessional automotive repair place I have ever beenWent in for a simple oil change and brake pads put on my vehicleI told them when I came in at am I had to pick up my daughter at 3:30pm that day which was mins awayI needed to know the repair could be done by then because I could not leave the car there with themThey assured me it would take about an hour to hour and a half to do the workTurns out I had to have (supposedly) more repair work done to the brakesGranted, there would have been more time to do the repair work, but I wound up being there FOUR hoursThe reason why I was there for that length of time is after I authorized the repair work, they didn't bother to check to ensure they had all the necessary parts for my vehicleI was thinking they had been working on my vehicle for an hour or more, then one of the guys comes out and tells me they had to order a part from Pelham, which was another mins away, but the repair would be fairly quick once the part arrivedThe part didn't arrive for more minutesTo me, the first thing that should have been checked when I authorized the work was that the necessary parts were all in store and when they realized they weren't, they should have notified me as soon as possible to confirm I wanted to wait/continue with the repairWhy would a repair shop wait an HOUR to provide a customer that information?? Every time I turned around, they were telling me about other "problems" with my car which were totally unrelated to the brakes and oil changeSave yourself a lot of trouble and stay away from these folks
I have always been satisfied with Moore Brothers Automotive but today they went above and beyond what was expected of themI am impressed with their honesty and integrity and I recommend them for your auto repair
