Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below As I stated earlier...it was [redacted] who was referring me back to Moore Parts & Moore Parts was wanting me to spend the money to ship the transmission back (for a second time) to The [redacted] ...I felt I was getting to runaround between the to of them...and I needed to et something DONE while the local mechanics for available to work on the car (the delay in time from the original purchase and returning the transmission was due to having to wait for the mechanics to have the time for my Volkswagen)I didn't think that would be an issue since they were clear that the transmission came with a one year/12,miles warranty If my visa was only as good as their product & warranty I'm sure they would understand Regards, [redacted] ***

Re: ID [redacted] Before the buyer returned the item he filed an A-to-Z claim on [redacted] [redacted] denied his claim and closed the case and the returnWe were kind enough to accept his return after thatAFTER THE ITEM WAS SENT BACK:Our Representation On The Condition Of His Return: item arrived with Nut installation marks on the flanges as well as lightning bolt shaped scratches the slipjoints from being pushed and twisted together for installationYou have been charged an [redacted] approved 20% restocking fee for the damages to the exhaustBUYER COMMENTS:you people are being untruthful - I did not install any part of the exhaust pipes returnedmatter of fact I did not remove from packaging all of the separate parts, just the 'u' bends whereupon I saw that the insert baffles were not included - as the image depictedI called the # had for moore, the answer was 'autoplicity'checking the [redacted] ad the seller is now listed as 'autoplicity', not mooreyou've got yourselves a Revdex.comureau complaint filed against you nowOUR REPRESENTATION:We have photos of the exhaust here along with the shipping label from youThe fact of the matter is, [redacted] has already denied your A-to-Z claim and we could have washed our hands of this problem at that pointBut we didnt, we still accepted your damaged return and gave you a partial refund for an item that we can no longer sell as new, what more could you want? We have gone above and beyond for you on an issue that could have been avoided if you had simply read the listing before buying a $product In conclusion [redacted] is a marketplace and we have no control over the photos they choose to represent listingsIf a box was opened before it was shipped this was just to add packing material to insure the items arrived in good conditionThe wear to the product was indicative of installation as we explained to the customerFurthermore in regards to the customer's comments about "Autoplicity" we have not ever been associated with this companyThe Customer is looking at a listing for the same part offered by another company.Thank you, [redacted] ***, OwnerMoore Parts Source

Moore parts would like to start this response by saying that we have worked with Mr [redacted] and his mechanic, Mr [redacted] , on several occasionsAt no point in time did we say, or give the impression, that we were not interested in helping themOn the contrary,we asked that the transmission be sent back for a tech breakdown, again, free of charge.Moore Parts Source and The [redacted] do not now, nor have we ever, given any kind of warranty or guarantee on rebuilt transmissions, Written or verbalWe explain to all customers that these aftermarket transmissions have no warranty whatsoever and that only under certain circumstances, The [redacted] may ask that a transmission be sent in for tech inspection, based on the [redacted] standing behind their Workmanship and Labor.The original transmission that Mr [redacted] purchased was one such occasionMr ***'s mechanic, Mr [redacted] complained of a sticky or non-functioning shift mechanismThe [redacted] spoke with both of them over the phone and after some trouble shooting that seemed to go nowhere, the owner of [redacted] asked that the transmission be sent in for technical inspection and sent out a completely different transmission, free of shipping chargesSubsequently, Mr***'s original transmission was received by [redacted] and was installed directly into another vehicle, no such shifting problem existed.Four months later, Mr [redacted] called about a problem with the new transmissionMoore Par# Manager, ***, spoke with Mr [redacted] directly and asked to speak with Mr***'s mechanic and suggested that as a courtesy, the transmission may have to be sent in fortech inspection [redacted] also explained to Mr [redacted] that Moore Parts has sold transmissions supplied by The [redacted] for over years, and have had less than a handful of defects from them over that tirne spanIn addition, the same cus***er has NEVER received faulty transmissions, and there may be a larger problem with other components on his vehicle.Mr***'s mechanic, Mr [redacted] called and spoke with [redacted] a few days later, they spoke about several possible problems and certain fixes or possible pre-existing conditions with the vehicleMr [redacted] then told [redacted] that Mr [redacted] is requesting that anotherlocal transmission mechanic, Mr [redacted] be called and commissioned to tear dawn and repair any possible problems with thetransmission in questionAt that time [redacted] explained the importance of having the original manufacturer repair any issue and if the transmission was opened by anyone other than a representative of The [redacted] , any hope of The [redacted] standingbehind their Workmanship and Labor will be voidedMr [redacted] said he understood and would relay the message to Mr***Mr[redacted] told [redacted] that Moore Parts would hear from them soon regarding the possible repairs that were discussed during the phonecall.Mr***, nor Mr [redacted] , ever contacted Moore Parts again.Moore Parts was willing to facilitate an additional complimentary tech inspection of the transmission, which would have cost Mr [redacted] another $in shipping, while we covered the return shipping of a repaired transmission to himInstead, Mr [redacted] decided to spend an additional $to have a local transmission mechanic repair any problems they encountered.At this point, Moore Parts Source and The [redacted] have both gone beyond what standard cus***er service would dictate for an item that carries No warranty.Thank you,
