Review: Mr. [redacted] closed his doors in Boston MA before he moved his business to California in 2013. In February 2012, my fiance purchased a gift certificate for a $100 massage with Mr. [redacted]. When I attempted to schedule my appointment with Mr. [redacted], his website stated that he had moved and would announce his new location shortly. I checked for several months, with no luck finding his new location. I found him via LinkedIn, and contacted him about my refund. First, he offered to honor the gift certificate and asked me when I was available. He stated he was coming back to Boston from California for a weekend, and could come to my house to provide the massage services. I sent him my availability, and never heard back. I have since sent him three separate emails over 4 months, in which I have requested a refund and Mr. [redacted] has promised that the check was going in the mail that same day. Every email he sends has a different excuse for not following through on his obligation. Finally, after the last email over one week ago when he promised that the check was going in the mail, it has yet to arrive. I am looking to resolve this issue, and am looking to Revdex.com for help.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a $100 refund in the form of a certified bank check made out to Amelia Robbins-Cureau within 30 days of this complaint.
