Terrible company! Had a loan for a car with this company, and decided to sale itFirst I wanted to pay it off over the phone and they couldn't figure out how to do that,so I had to mail a check.First Red Flag! My comment to that was "thieves can hack my account and take what they want but I cant give you my information and you figure out how to withdraw the money?" Payed the loan off in full well they told me they had to hold my title for weeks to make sure the check cleared, so I decided to pay $to have the title overnighted after it clearedIt still never came, so I called this morning and they said they accidentally sent it standard mail and was mailed out on the 10th that was almost a week agoStandard mail even runs faster than that especially when your in the same state! Better believe if your a day late for their payment they are calling and sending letters, but yet get in no hurry to do something in return! I will NEVER do business with this company again!
Today November 21,I closed all my accounts because I found out of a New Scam that this bank is doingThey are charging a dollar a day as an over draft feeSounds far enough that is if you catch it on timeI never knew of this new policy and there for I didn't realize that they were taking money from innocent people that wayA bank either does not give over draft, charges $for each over draft or tells you about paying for over draft protectionI was never offered over draft protection and for the many years I banked with Marine Federal Credit *** I had never experience such a disgraceful way of a bank making money unfairly on peopleI was over drafted and payed of my overdraft and without realizing it is still needed to pay for $Everyday that passed * was charged $for over draft fee reaching $When I approached them about it they said it was a new policy and that we should have read it on anew email that I never recievedWell this is why I closed my accountI am a retired Veteran and only get payed once a monthIf I would not have caught this I would had owed a lot more moneyThis bank also falsely reports people to credit companies like *** *** and *** When I asked them about this they had now idea why they did that but there must had been a legitimate reason why they reported itThey just did not know what that reason wasWell for all you service members and retires please be aware of the daily charges from this bank for over drafting

This credit union has been the worst experience I have ever had with a business. I had a car loan that went into modification after I lost employment. I was in constant contact with Marine Federal throughout the process. Once the modification was done, I found employment and was working to get the account up to date and missed a payment only to find out later that this put the account into default which caused it to appear that a payment had not been made in 4 MONTHS!! Which is not correct!. I contacted the credit union and told them that I would make a payment this month and would try to get an extra payment in for the month also and I asked if the vehicle would be repossessed and was told no so I asked to be notified if this was the case. This week I called to make the payment and was told that the vehicle was going to be repossessed. I need my vehicle and I have been in contact with them the entire time and have been making payments, but I was basically told tough, just get your things out of the vehicle because we are coming to get it . I have had the vehicle for 3 years and intended to keep the vehicle. The staff person in collections was the worst that I have ever dealt with.
