I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowRegards, [redacted] First we took vehicle there to be fixed not for engine switch we drove car most of the way there then it stalled would not start and had to be towed rest of the wayWe got it inspected and it failed so we got 10day and drove it around as good as we could as it won't always start it stalls when driving etcAlso we were told check engine light would clear if we drove itIt didn't clearTemp gauge no longer works they ruined the paint on the car with torches and scratched something down passenger side cuz it didn't have these marks before we dropped it off Also AC no longer worksWe were under the impression they were going to fix my car ends up they trashed my car it's worse now than it was when we dropped it off and now I'm going to have to pay another garage atleast $to fix it rightThe engine was not set up it was a bad starter and they used the bad starter againThey said it needed an engine we trusted them but they were wrong made my car a pile of junk I can't get inspected or drive if you clear the check engine light turn car back on light comes right back on doesn't stay outAlso it went from an estimate for $to a bill for $and they did a cob job and didn't fix the issueHe was supposed to fix it it's not fixed not even close

Clyde responded verbally: They called me about a car with no powerThey towed the car in with a tow ropeMy job was to change the motor.NYS law says you can only do what the customer asksShe said they waited weeks for the motor, however she supplied the motor to meI waited weeks for the
motor to install itWhen she brought the $deposit is the day she brought the motor to meNow she says other issues with car, when you change a motor or do body work on a car, you have to disconnect the pressure and take a reading of the pressure, at that time there was no pressure meaning the AC wouldn't work. Check engine light was on, no doubt when it came in to me ,but I could not run the vehicle since the motor was not workingThe vehicle was registered May 8, and why wasn't it inspected prior to me getting it? It should have been done within daysShe complained additionally about engine light when she gets it back, that will happen since it is a new motor,this always happens as it needs to sync againNothing was said about this as I was not going to inspect the vehicle as I do not do thatThis is common, she has to drive the vehicle for it to re-syncThe car had a dead battery to start with as wellShe needed to drive it to sync it since she brought in a new battery as wellTemperature guage is not working due to no power to sensor on the motor, I took an additional step to test itThe flat rate price for the motor install was never exceededFlat rate charge by anyone else on that motor is hours. My flat rate was at $This does not include anything additional such as oil, etc to make the motor runShe is not due a refund at all as I did the service requested for the fee I charge, which is right on the bill, and the bill states "no warranty". I know they are currently driving the vehicle.Therefore, it is in better shape than when it came into meI have done this for years and have never had a consumer like her around here in my entire life
