I am rejecting the business response due to numerous inaccurate statements made by MrBrian MooreThe job (metal siding) was "completed " once, but was so poorly done that they (Brian and Jason Moore), decided to pull off all metal and re-accomplish the installation correctlyI simply asked them to inspect the work and let me know what they thinkThe badly dimpled metal wasn't even an issue I brought up, Jason Moore identified this discrepancy along with many othersI have numerous photos to show the poor workmanshipThe screws were tightened way too much causing dimples and would eventually cause the rubber seals on the screws to failThis is "metal siding 101" information; all installation information I have reviewed shows the proper and improper way to install the screwsAlso on that subject, On of the rows of screws is installed directly on a seam (all around the building), where the holding strength of the screw is minimal and subject to latent defect failureI can send photos of that also The previous roof job was satisfactory, except the fact that Brian Moore failed to tell his roofing workers that there was to be a ridge vent installedThey installed the sheet metal ridge vent material, without cutting the vent in the roof sheeting (OSB), therefore, no venting is possibleThey also used X boards instead of X 4s that were agreed upon, and also did not install any vertical boards on the sheeting along the edgesI didn't reject these shortfalls, but did request that the ridge vent shortfall be fixedMrMoore promised to take care of the problem The installers for the vinyl soffit and ceiling over the deck areas were done very well When we were inspecting the poor workmanship for the first install I also mentioned the fact that there was OSB exposed to the elements on the bottom, both of them agreed that that was unacceptable alsoJason had to explain it to Brian though, I was surprised he didn't have this basic knowledge of his tradeIn addition, I also told both of them that the spacing between the decking joists and the bottom of the "rat guard" needed to be an inch, so that the decking would fit under the metalBrian failed to relay that information to his workers; when I checked progress on the first day of the reinstall, I mentioned that the spacing was incorrectI mentioned to them that I told Brian and Jason of the spacing requirementThe workers indicated that they received no such message from Brian or JasonI called Brian and Jason to discussThey have been very difficult since that discussionThey said they would fix it, but never came back to do any real workOne guy showed up for a couple hours, basically to gather toolsAttached is a photo of my building being open to the elements all winter due to their unresponsiveness, you can see the job was never completed a second time (another statement by Brian) He kept promising week by week to finish the job and that metal was orderedHe did ask me to pay more of the $balance to help pay for the metalAt that point, I was not going to pay until the job was done correctlyOther discrepancies included severely scratched panels, improperly finished corners, buckled metal, mismatched seams, poorly done flashing around the doors and windows, end garage door had a 1/4" leak path on the left side, mud all over the walls, foot prints on the metal panels from walking on, poor fit for overhead door (above the garage door), huge mess of scrap metal and garbage left in my yard, items in my pond, uneven "rat guard" installation, starting fires for heat without permission, driving a car through the wet grass and peeling out making ruts, unresponsive to phone calls and texts, no flashing around windows and doors as agreed, etcIt isn't that I am "unpleasable," I simply expect a good job for the money I payI had to call the Sheriff's Office to escort me to his house to drop off his worker's (Ben) ladders due to a threatening text from BrianI have pictures and documentation for that alsoThe last sentence of his response is incoherent; therefore I can't respond to what he was meaning to sayI have since had the job finished by a reputable installer and am happy with the job that was doneMoore's Roofing still owes me the money for the siding job and the repairs I had to do to the roof (adding a ridge vent)They would not even fix that issueHe also said they were bonded and insured; shouldn't their insurance take care of damages done by subcontractors? The truth and the facts are on my side of this ordealPlease do what you can do to get my money back from this company Regards, [redacted] * [redacted]

Regards, *** ***

Hello my name is Brian Moore and this is a response to the complaint filed by Mr***This job was completed not once but twice and both times Mr*** requested new metal be bought and changedThe first time he had a few spots where they had tightened the screw heads a tad to much on a
few sheets and he insisted I change it all Which I didHe also requested we move the metal down an extra inch and a quarterCausing all new metal to be purchased which we didBut after getting it on a second time he wanted us to take it all off and cut a quarter inch off each piece now cause his deck boards would fit tightSome people are unpleasable and Mr*** is one of themAfter buying metal twice and paying our workers twice the money ran out leaving Mr*** with a thousand dollar balance I told him buy the metal needed for the last wall with that and we'd put it up leaving us doing it for nothing but when he asked me to go farther out of my pocket and new metal a third time I couldn'tI tried to work with Mr*** as far as I'm concerned he owed me $Take that get the two pieces of metal and pay someone else to finish itThank you
