Dear ***, This email is in response to Complaint ***. Due to the nature of the Revdex.com complaints and
responses that are visible to the public and in order to stay in compliance we
are unable to disclose any information regarding our customers financial
situation.
Therefore I will make a
general statement to respond. Every situation/customer
is unique in their financial situation and needs and because of that at times
it requires us to go to multiple lenders once we gain permission from the
customer to do so. I am confident that
after speaking with our personnel we had
the ***'s permission to proceed and secure them a loan. Further, all the inquiries that were made on
their bureau occurred between Jan 23-30, 2015.
On Page of the attached "Fair Isaac" Understanding Your
Credit Score document it states that even though there are multiple inquires,
they only count as one inquiry on your credit bureau in any given day
periodWe do our very best to help every customer that comes our way, and I am
sorry that we could not assist the ***'s.

West Herr has reviewed the details of Mr
*** complaint once again, only to confirm what was previously stated in a
response
The West Herr Used Car Outlet obtained
permission from Mr*** on 1/to run his credit. His Experian FICO score (Auto Version 8) was
determined at that point in time.
The dealership attempted to help Mr
*** obtain financing for a vehicle.
This often requires dealing with more than one lender. Mr*** gave the dealership permission to
obtain such an approval. The final
lender ran Mr***’s credit on 1/(days later). The lender confirmed, yesterday, that Mr
***’s Experian Auto Version FICO credit score on 1/was identical
to the score West Herr had pulled on 1/23.
Mr***’s score did not drop by even one point. Please note, for confidentiality reasons, we
will not publish the exact score in this document.
This confirms that information stated in
the previously attached Fair Isaac document titled “Understanding Your
Credit.” Within a day window, the
FICO score allows for rate shopping and allows multiple inquiries to act like a
single inquiry. In other words, whether
it’s one inquiry or several inquiries, the FICO score is affected as though
if only one inquiry occurred. This also
demonstrates that the dollar amount requested did not affect Mr***’s
credit score whatsoever

We still
maintain that we had the ***'s permission to proceed and secure a loan for
themHowever in the spirit of customer satisfaction, we have begun the process
of asking every lender to remove the inquiries between the dates of 1/21/
through 1/31/2104, with the exception of the one they stated they allowedIt
should be noted that this process is very lengthy and time consuming, and
depending on the lender could take up to monthsWe are requesting that the
lenders send a letter to the ***'s stating that the inquiry has been
removedThe General Manager will stay in touch with the ***'s throughout this
process, and has left a message regarding the action we are taking to assist
them***

I want this to stay on the record for other vehicle owners who are pursuing the purchase of a vehicle and I do not accept that they had our best interest when we specifically told them that nothing over a certain amount and only one placeThey are going to say whatever they want to cover their buttWhen the months is up and the hits on my husbands record have been cleared is when I feel this can be closedI have already contacted a local news station about this situation to help people locally to beware of what this dealership does

Regardless of how many times West Herr ran the report, it was made clear that we only wanted to go through the one preapproved companyThere were also many attempts through other banks which resulted in letters being sent from these banks for refusal as being that too many inquiries were doneThat is more than the one that we agreed uponRegardless, we said only work with the one place and only SUVs no more than $12,and he received letters from multiple banks for trucks ranging from $19,- $26,which we did not agree withIf that were the case, then we would have just gone to the new car location for that matter

They pursued 32 times and when for trucks that ranged in price from $19,000 to $26,000 which was not approved or authorized and way beyond our needs. I do not agree with what their response is and it is unacceptable.
