Review: On January 23,2016 my BMW 745 2002 marked me a check engine light and oil level service,I noticed that my car takes more time switch gears. On January 25,2016 I talked to the owner of Morales Auto Care,[redacted],about prices for changing the oil and checking my car to find out why the car was taking time to switch gears and to tell me what was going on with my check engine light on the dash. He told me, It will be $90 for a diagnostic test.He did the diagnostic;he told me the transmission pan gasket needs to be replaced it is leaking fluid $450. He said the check engine light had two codes two sensors that will cost you $600 which was not true.Since it was expensive,I decided to only do the oil change. I noticed there was small fluid marks in my parking spot but I thought it might have been transmission fluid because [redacted] told me that the transmission pan needed to be replaced. On March 25,2016 I decide to go to a cheaper mechanic to fix the transmission pan gasket on my car.He checked my check engine light it was a code for transmission fluid and a code for air holes. On March 26,2016, I noticed there was still fluid on the ground.I went to complain to the guy who did my transmission,he lifted the car and check everything he did and said there is no fluid coming out of the pan; You need to go back to the guy that did your oil change. On March 28,2016 I went to see [redacted], I told him my car has an oil leak. His mechanic looked under the car and said there are leaks but not where we did the work probably somewhere else on the motor, its not our mistake. The same day,I went to Jiffy Lube to get an oil leak check up. The guy check the car and found the problem. The problem was motor oil drain plug was cracked he said, "whoever did your oil change they cracked the area where the drain plunge is because your oil still looks clean." I went to [redacted] he said he will not fix it because it has passed too many miles then he offer to fix it $250 plus free labor.I dont think its fair since he broke itDesired Settlement: Replace the part that is cracked. I showed them where the leaking was because the [redacted] guy told me where it was exactly so they could see what they did. [redacted] only found that spot to be leaking oil on the motor when the did the oil leaks inspection.

Im really upset knowing that [redacted] was trying to take my money for codes unnecessarily needed. The mechanic who did the transmission reset the codes and check engine light has not come back on. Please help me

Review: I had my car towed to [redacted] auto care on requesting a full diagnosis in order to estimate the cost of service. The next day "the owner" called stating that there was an issue with my car misfiring, a leak in the exhaust, and an issue with my after-market alarm. [redacted] was consented to work on the car. The car was picked up on and when we took the car the check engine light was still on. I immediately called [redacted] to inform him & he told me that it would take the car a little while to register and it should go away after a few miles. About a week and a half later the car started lobbing while at stops, and a strong smell of exhaust was leaking into the car. I called [redacted] and my husband took the car back to him. [redacted] stated that there was a vacuum hose that needed to be replaced. He taped it up for my husband and told him that was a temporary fix. Later my car broke down leaving me stranded after work. I had my vehicle towed back to [redacted] auto care after hours. [redacted] called me to explain that the alternator was bad and he needed to replace it he also stated that I had multiple issues with my car. I then asked him why those issues were not revealed when he did the original diagnosis. He began to get very defensive and told me that it was my fault the car was messed up and that I waited "400 or 700" miles to bring it back to him. I told him that he was paid to repair my vehicle and I was charged for a diagnosis. He got very irate and told me that there was no way he could of diagnosed my car because the battery was dead when he got it and the car would have needed to operate for at least 50 miles in order to get an accurate diagnosis. I told him that he was dis-honest with me from the very beginning and he should have told me that to begin with, but instead he lead me to believe that my car was repaired. I requested a refund at that point and told him that I would be right over to pick up my car and he stated that I would not get a dime back and furthermore I owed him $60 a day for storage totaling $120 and counting. He then refused to release my car to me stating he's never dealt with me before and the only person he would release the car to would be the person who brought it in even though I am the Legal title holder. I demanded that he release my car or I would be forced to get the local law enforcement involved because he did not have permission to work on my car anymore. He then stated "I'm not giving you s[redacted]" and hung up on me. He was very unprofessional and in my estimation, a con artist!! I would never recommend his shop to anyone, and I am appalled with the way I was treated as a paying customer. I will be taking him to small claims court for a refund on the money I put out.Desired Settlement: I would no longer recommend this mechanic to anyone!! I would greatly appreciate a full refund being my car is still inoperable.

to who may concern . in respond to the angelicas? ford mustang complain, she is not my customer that I make the repair contract. so the information of the repair is very private and limited to unknown person to protect customer private information, between the auto repair facility and to unknown person calling attending to get details and private information about customer. I never met angelica so when she call at the shop I [redacted] the manager tell her that I don't know her that I can not discus this matter with a person that I never met , especially when she start treating me José and the company with legal matters, so I tell that I don't have to discuss this mater with her. , . on addition she states that she is the legal owner of the vehicle, but when a person call from a several different phone numbers and don't match the work order phone number it became very suspicious. so when she request to releasing the vehicle I José decline,

in conclusion the customer [redacted] come at he shop on Friday date 05/02/14 Friday at 9.3o am and he start apologizing about the incident about she calling me and making a demands. he [redacted] legal customer states that I didn't due nothing wrong and that I was right not deal with her . I [redacted] make him a reminder that whoever person that bring the car for repairs is responsible for payments and has the right to demand details of repairs and release of vehicle , he states that he does understand that law

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] claims that I am not his customer, but the cost for faulty repairs were posted to my bank account on 03/29/2014 in which I have bank documents and sales receipts to support the charges. In addition, [redacted] had no issues discussing the original consent to repair my vehicle on 3/28/14 at 5:42pm. He claims I called from several different phone numbers which is a flat out lie. I spoke to [redacted] directly on his personal cell phone. When I spoke to [redacted] on 5/1/14 at 10:13 am he called me on my cell phone and left a voice mail, I immediately returned his call (from the same phone number he called me on) which is when he told me about the alternator being bad. At that time I requested him to at least test drive the vehicle because of the loss of pressure in the motor. He later called me back on the same phone number at 5:48pm (I missed the call) I returned his call at 6:09pm (from the same phone number he left the voice mail on) and the duration of the call was 12 minutes and 17 seconds. The call ended with [redacted] demanding additional storage and diagnosis fees after I questioned his honesty about the repairs; after I refused to pay the additional fees [redacted] refused to give me my vehicle stating he didn't know me. I told him if he did not release my vehicle to me, I would involve local law enforcement being I am the registered/titled owner of the vehicle. He hung up on me and refused to take anymore of my calls. [redacted], which is my husband did pick up the vehicle on 05/02/2014 in the am. [redacted] states that [redacted] apologized for my demanding answers which is a lie. [redacted] also states [redacted] agreed that he was right in not dealing with me which is also a lie. The only thing that has come out of my doing business with [redacted] Auto INC is the realization that [redacted] is a liar and a scammer.
