In the body of this response I have substituted the actual name of the person who filed the complaint with "previous tenant".
This email is in response to the complaint # [redacted] filed by "previous tenant".  I am saddened to say that "previous tenant" has not been truthful with me and...

now I see in his complaint he has filed that he is not being truthful with the Revdex.com.  I will discredit his claims with this information.  His rent was $795 per month but his deposit was only $645.  This is documented in writing with his and his other two roommates signatures.  "Previous tenant" is correct in that they did give 55 days notice of their move out.  However, in their signed lease agreement they were to give 60 days notice of move out or pay a prorated amount of rent for the month after their lease expired.  This prorated amount of rent was $324.   Not only is this information in the lease but they were mailed a reminder letter prior to the 60 days before their lease expired.  Once again, this paper work is all documented.  That alone brings their deposit down to $321.  "Previous tenant" and his two roommates vacated the house on Sunday, February 1, 2015.   The refrigerator and the kitchen stove were utterly disgusting requiring more than your typical clean up,  the attic was full of their unwanted belongings and the living room ceiling was covered in mud splatters.  This is all documented with pictures.  The move in inspection of which has their signatures on it does not indicate the mud splatter on the ceiling as "previous tenant" claims was already there.  The mud was very significant in a large area requiring cleaning, a primer coat and finish coat of paint of the entire living room ceiling.  Needless to say, there was no deposit left to be returned.
"Previous tenant" was upset in learning there would be no deposit refund and expressed his vulgarities in multiple text messages to me on the evening of Friday, February 20, 2015.  That same weekend the rental property at [redacted] Drive was vandalized.  A report has been filed with the Bowling Green Police Department.  Upon investigating the vandalism, reviewing my text messages from "previous tenant" and interviewing "previous tenant", the BGPD is pursuing indictment of felony charges of malicious vandalism against "previous tenant".
I consider this complaint from "previous tenant" to have zero merit.  In light of the information I have shared with you, I ask that you respond to "previous tenant".  I am curious if he now wants to dispute my subjective decision of not returning the deposit before I waste the time of my staff in copying and forwarding the paper work to prove this claim has zero merit.
I appreciate the work of the Revdex.com and sorry that this claim has taken up your time that could be better spend in helping someone in need.  Contact me directly via email or  at ###-###-#### if you need further information from Moran Properties, LLC.
Sincerely,
