Dear Ms***:We are in receipt of the above-referenced Revdex.com complaint, as well as a signed Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) consent signed by the consumer permitting Our response to you.According to our records, we provided imaging services to the consumer On November
12, A claim for those services was submitted to the consumer's insurance carrier, Blue CrossBlue Cross processed the claim on November 20, 2015, and indicated that $had been applied to the consumer's deductible and thus was the consumer responsibility.Two statements were mailed to the consumer, one on December 1, and one on December 31, Additionally, two phone calls were made to the consumer, one on January 18, and one on January 19, A final notice was mailed to the consumer on February 1, Because we received no response to any of our statements or phone calls, the claim was sent to collections in March Our collection agency, CMRE, reported the debt in May and the consumer paid the claim in June 2016.As a courtesy following Revdex.com contact, we pulled the account back from collections and requested that CMRE remove the negative item that had been reported to the consumer's credit reportThe consumer currently has a zero balance.The consumer states in his complaint that he did not recognize our name, and further that he was confused by the receipt of different medical bills from different providers.While we understand that receiving multiple medical bills may be confusing, a phone call to our billing office would have explained everythingThe consumer also completed and signed a “Patient Information Sheet” prior to receiving imaging servicesOn this form, the consumer initialed that he understood that Moran, Rowen and Dorsey, Inc., would be billing his insurance carrier for his services.We take great pride in providing caring, compassionate services to our patients beginning with the imaging services and continuing through the payment processWe provide consideration to our patients who may be experiencing financial hardship including reduction or elimination of charges and interest-free payment plansWe would have been happy to assist the consumer in any way necessary had he responded to us prior to his account being sent to collections.We hope this information is helpful to the Revdex.com as well as the consumerPlease feel free to contact me should you have questions or need additional information.Sincerely,
