Review: I purchased a home that had been "spruced up" by Mora's Construction. Mora's was hired by the previous owner (a house flipper) who purchased the property in July 2014. I purchased the home in November 2014. Early on we noticed that there were several shortcuts taken by the construction crew in renovating the home. Most of these are cosmetic, and I am handling them myself. However, now they are piling up and creating more and more mess for me to clean up...and pay for,The even that convinced me to write this was the re-glazing of a bathtub. I asked Mora's who did the work. He responded within a day with the name of the company that did the work. "M[redacted]." I called M[redacted] and he said he had no invoice for that job. Then M[redacted] called me back later and said that he spoke with Mora's and actually did the job, but he did it for the previous owner. And that he did the work in May 2014 with a 12 month guarantee on his work. Conveniently, this was the first week of June 2015. If M[redacted] did this work for the previous owner, how did Mora's know who did the work so quickly? The story does not make sense. It only shows me that their pattern of poor workmanship and sloppy supervision is pervasive and is now affecting my family's ability to enjoy the house.Desired Settlement: Shortly after we closed on the house, Mora's said,"call us for anything you need and we will handle it." I would like them to cover the bill for another company to re-glaze the tub. when done properly, this should last a lot longer than 7 months. or even 12 months.
