On 14 Feb 2020, a friend & I had dinner at this business. I paid with my Master Card. After checking my credit card statement, I found I was charged two different amounts, on the same date. One For $53.89, which is correct. The 2nd for $29.63. We were only there once on that date. This is the 2nd time I've had this happen there. I spoke with the manager two days in a row and she promised to check and call me back, but I haven't heard from her. Now, to dispute this charge, my credit card has to be cancelled & reissued. You know this is quite a hassle.
We are regular customers there, at least 3 times a month. We will continue to go, but I will not trust them with my credit card, in the future & will make sure all our friends & relatives that go there know to either pay with cash or double check their statements to ensure they are not being double charged.
Yes we first received knowledge of this the monday after February 14th it was presidents day and banks where closed because of these it was impossible to get a hold of bank on Tuesday once banks open we refunded $30 back to his account. Customer was contacted and notified that his refund was processed and it was upon banking times and protocol to see the money back in to his account.
As you can see action was taking immediately as the banking institutions where back in business.
There was Nothing we could have done prior that since
1 the payment was In processing Status it was not even a confirm payment.
We apologize for the confusion and we made things right on our end.
