Sometimes I think dry cleaners forget that they are working with more than just clothes. I took in a handmade quilt that my best friend had taken over a year to make. I received back the quilt but the border had turned from white to pink. My major disappointment with this business was the complete lack of response to what had happened to the quilt. They blamed the quilt (it didn't have a tag). Have they not heard of pre-testing? I don't think as a customer I should be responsible for knowing how to dry clean an item. If they are that uncertain, then perhaps they should refuse to clean. In any case, it is a poor business to not take any responsibility or care about their service
While we were never able to determine damage to Mr. [redacted] shirt, we wish to bring the matter to a close. Therefore, we have mailed a check for the amount requested for the complainant.
