Called morency and son on 6/4/2019 regarding getting fence put up in yard. He returned call same day ,made appointment to come to home for estimate for following day at 230pm. He came to home at 530pm. Gave estimate of $7,020.00 for fence in back yard. We said we would like him to bring a contact to the home for us to sign. He returned on 6/21/2019 with contract which we signed and gave half the amount $3,510.00. He said said he would be back to do the fence at the end of July, depending on weather. Check was cashed on 6/25/2019. Have made numerous calls since the end of July, with no response from company. Calls made on 7/19/2019, 7/24/2019, 7/31/2019, 8/1/2019, 8/5/2019, 8/6/2019 and 8/13/2019, with no response at all. We don't know if still in business or not. We are not happy with the service ,we would like our money returned and we will go to another company.

Recieved a letter from you regarding customer ***. At the time of signing he was told and aware we were 12-14 weeks out on installations. No where in the contract states end of July and no way possible of that being a time frame with that being the state of busy season. I told him material would most likely be at the end of July maybe where that is his confusion of time frame. His install is this Thursday the 19th which falls right in the time frame I told him. Also states in our legal binding contract after 72 hr theres no rescinding from the contract and also states no refunds once material orders are placed. I would like this removed from the system due to we have not breached anything on our contract. Thank you and concerns please reply

I am rejecting this response because: When the contract was signed we were told verbally by Ron M they would be here to start the job at the end of July, not 12 to 14 weeks later. We were not confused on the time frame. They did call on Sept 17th to say they would start the job on Sept 19th. They did come on the 19th to remove the old fencing. Then came on the 20th to start the new fence. They finished the job on Sept 24th. We feel that was because they received letters from the Revdex.com and the Attorney General's office, which was also contacted after we sent the complaint to your office. Also beware the price they quote is not the actual price, they do charge extra for removing stones from the holes they dig. We have learned a valuable lesson from this, get dates in writing not verbally. We would not use this company again and would never recommend them to anyone. Thank you for your help in resolving this issue. The fence is up and we are happy.

The were very attentive until they cashed my deposit check. Then we never heard from them again. They would not return our phone calls and did not show up for the job. They took our money and now we can’t reach them to get it back.

When we signed a contract with Ron at Morencey & Sons in mid July, we did so because he promised us an install date of mid August. They have yet to return any of our calls nor have they contacted us. Nearly 4 months later they have yet to reply to one of my many emails or calls.

They don't even deserve 1 star. They took my deposit in July and I haven't heard from them since. They have not returned one of my numerous calls.

Cashed deposited check before work was started or completed. When finished price rose $500 when project took 10xs longer than promised and was lied to several times. Did not inform customer of price increase before doing the work.

Excellent workship

I entered into contract with Morency & Sons on 5/16/18 after making a 50% deposit to have a fence installed on my property. I also inquired about the anticipated installation time frame and was informed on 5/21/18 that the materials were ordered and once received an installation date would be set but that we could anticipate a end of June install timeframe. I again inquired about installation date as the end of June approached. I had trouble reaching them and informed my husband who also reached out both via phone and email. My husband received a return call of which he was told that our install date would be 7/9/18. We informed our neighbor as he planned to remove his fence that bordered our property as our fence would be a replacement.

I followed up via email on 7/718 and was informed that the install date would need to be delayed a few days because the contractor’s wife went into labor 4 weeks earlier than expected. By the time I reached my neighbor to inform him of the delay, he had already begun removing his fence. I sent a follow up email asking for a specific date, especially if we needed to consider taking a day off of work as my husband had already taken off of work on 7/9/18 and since it was Saturday, it was too late for him to cancel his day off on 7/9/18. I did not receive a reply.

Since 7/718 I have called several times as well as sent several emails requesting an update on the fence installation. My calls and emails have gone unanswered/unreturned. It has been 3 weeks since our last communication with this contractor. Additionally it has been over 2 months since we made our initial deposit.

on april 11th I sent a deposit to have a fence installed at my home, was told 3 to 4 week, after 8 weeks I decided to cancel the fence and request a fefund. I was told I would receive a refund less $75.00 for fees witch iam ok with.2 weeks later no refund came so I contacted mordancy and was told checks in mail, mailed on the fifth of june, 10 days later no check. don't believe him. once he received my deposit it was one excuse after another bad business practice. he owes me $2150.00

morencyandsons Customer signed contract on April 11th we didn't receive it tho until april23th 2018. Deposit was deposited into account that day materials were ordered. I told customer which is on saved email we are running 4-5 weeks out at that time. But we don't start his time til we have contract in hand. So from April 23rd when we received it is when it starts which put us at end of May. So his tentative install date was May 31st 2018. Now in our contracts is states ALL WEATHER will effect start dates, prior to that is rain the whole week from Tuesday - Sunday and also rain on May 31st 2018. We called and notified him he was ok with at when we called on the 31st. Then 5 minutes after my guys left in the morning to head to the ***house he calls and says he wants to cancel. Which by law it was past the 72hrs. There is now 2850.00 in material sitting at my shop because he refused to take it. So finally on the June 5th 2018 the check was mailed out. Which goes to quakertown post office to Philadelphia then to Lehigh and then to his town post office. He deposited the check I sent him on June 15th 2018
