I have promised Ms*** that I will make a payment to her, she and I spoke.I made a commitment to her to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.*** ***
The motor will be replaced as soon as they arrive from the manufacturer I anticipate having a motor this week to repave the motor under warrantee.I have been out of the shop due top family and personal medical issues I will resolve this problem.*** ***
Please be knowing, that Morgan Awning does about 12009 complete installations each year, and that my family has been in the business for 97 years. The order was taken on May 19, 2015. although we had an order to make and recover awnings and to install them on his existing frames , he did not know...
what he wanted for color or lettering. He then asked our company to design a graphic layout as per awnings on a competitors awning. I told him that this would take at least 3 weeks, and that we would need his approval before submitting for permits. He did not approve any graphics and now asked to see lettering on the drawing to be done by our design person. The original contract called for only one awning with lettering, and the color to be Charcoal black. We then made the awnings for installation, when he said it was the wrong color it was to be gray. He did not understand that charcoal and gray were not the same. Morgan then made new awnings, changed the color at our expense and installed. we should have charged for all the changes and the design work, but we did complete the installation to the satisfaction of the customer.
